Blandford Opportunity Group is a pre-school playgroup for babies and children with special needs and disabilities. Regulated by Ofsted, we provide support for children from birth to 5 years, and for parents and carers. Sessions are held during term time in facilities which include a sensory room, playroom, family room and a wheelchair access disabled toilet.

The College provides almshouse accommodation for eligible women, preferably widows or daughters of Ministers of the Church of England, in The Close, Salisbury and at St John's Priory, Wilton. Throughout England to promote good health and wellbeing, particularly but not exclusively among those who are economically and socially disadvantaged. Various types of sessions designed to increase understanding and skills in nutrition, healthy eating, cooking, meal planning, growing food and budgeting and raise awareness of the relationship between diet and health.

We provide assessments mainly for the Agricultural,Horticulture and allied industries,using both computer based and practical types of assessment as appropriate.

Recycling of freely donated bicycles to give affordable access to fully reconditioned roadworthy bikes, to local children and adults, to enable them to improve their health, increase their opportunities for employment, reduce the cost of their transport, interact within their community, volunteer and fund raise. Training and instruction in road safety is provided both on and off road.

Running an international classical music festival on Exmoor, Dartmoor and surrounding areas. In addition we offer school workshops, a residency programme and have a Young Musicians Platform competition for talented young musicians living in Cornwall, Devon, Dorset, Somerset, Gloucestershire and Wiltshire.

A CHURCH SERVING THE LYTCHETT MATRAVERS AREA, WITH SERVICES OF CHRISTIAN WORSHIP FOR ALL AGES AND CLUBS FOR CHILDREN AND YOUTH. PARENTING AND MARRIAGE COURSES ARE OFFERED AND HELP IS GIVEN TO NEEDY PEOPLE IN THE LOCAL AND SURROUNDING AREAS. WORK WITH CHURCHES IN JAPAN IS SUPPORTED ON A REGULAR BASIS, AS IS WORK AMONGST PEOPLE IN UGANDA. OVERSEAS RELIEF NEEDS ARE SUPPORTED AS AND WHEN REQUIRED.

Some are annual donations, and others are applied for each year as "one off" grants. Liaise with all the Free Churches in the Bournemouth Area.

Staffie and Stray Rescue take in dogs via phone calls/emails from members of the public wishing to surrender their dog. We also work with local authorities and help to find stray dogs a forever home. Dogs are placed in foster homes we do not have a centre of our ownAll homes are vetted before placing dogsAll money is fundraised by volunteers
