The Bridport Literary Festival Limited organise an annual Literary Festival in Bridport, Dorset. The Festival runs for one week in November each year. During that week a series of events take place.

B Sharp, based in Lyme Regis, West Dorset, provides high quality music-making opportunities to excite and inspire young people. Our aim is to bring out the strengths in every child building confidence and self esteem. Our professional music leaders have between them the highest level and range of experience. The provision of financial help directly or indirectly to residents of Christchurch, Dorset generally and sometimes individually (a) to alleviate suffering or assist recovery of the sick, convalescent, disabled, handicapped or infirm provided such help is not readily available from another source, or (b) to reduce need hardship or distress.

Playback Theatre South West creates opportunities for communities of people to engage with issues that affect their lives in workshops and performances. Creative theatre activities support refugees; young carers; people with learning difficulties or mental health issues; women who have experienced domestic abuse; and women's organisations in the South West of England.

St James' Cottage Nursery & Out of School Club is situated in the village of Gaunts Common, for children from the age of 2 years up to 11years old. We support local families by providing high-quality affordable childcare during term time and 2 weeks of the year for holiday club. We fundraise throughout the year by holding special events to help keep the costs down.

Furtherance of the religious and charitable purposes of the Religious Society of Friends primarily in Dorset and South Wiltshire

To promote general charitable purposes for the benefit of the community of Lyme Regis and surrounding area. To provide relief from poverty and disadvantage and to advance education of its residents of all agea, and in particular, to provide opportunities for the residents to participate fully in the life of the community in ways which address and alleviate social and economic depravation.

An Education Centre for Sustainable Living, open to people of all ages and backgrounds. Monkton Wyld Court provides residential and day courses and training in low impact, low carbon living and land based skills. Our resident community leads by example, making conscious choices to live a sustainable lifestyle. We also operate as an educational venue for a wide range of groups.

THE ADVANCEMENT OF MUSIC EDUCATION FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE PUBLIC IN THE DORSET/HAMPSHIRE AREA, IN PARTICULAR BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY FOR THE BENEFIT OF DISADVANTAGED PERSONS AND IN PARTICULAR BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY BY THE PROVISION OF: (I) MUSICAL INSTRUMENTS; (II) TUITION OR INSTRUCTION.

To act as a Foodbank in Weymouth and surrounding area based on Christian principles by:-a) Providing emergency food to individuals and families in need and/or for distribution by charities and other organisations working to prevent or relieve poverty or financial hardship.b) Such other means, including the provision of support or signposting to relevant information and other advisory services.

To supplement the service given by Bridport Hospital for patients and staff by the provision of facilities and equipment which fall outside NHS funding priorities. To raise funds and receive gifts, donations and legacies. To recruit voluntary workers for the coffee shop and trolley service to the wards.

The Pilgrim House Trust,Weymouth supports the elderly and local community in the Weymouth Portland and the surrounding area, to encourage, promote and organise direct and indirect services. To further such charitable purpose or purposes as the charity shall think fit through the making of grants and donations. To promote and organise community activities

The charity advances the Christian Faith through worship, teaching and evangelism to all ages, and it also focusses much of its attention trying to meet specific needs in the local community as well as the poor and needy in the UK and overseas.
