We run arts based holiday clubs and workshops that inspire children aged 6 to 14yrs, prioritising the less advantaged, offering free arts education and chances to work with local professional artists. We also provide a programme for teens offering training to gain arts qualifications and leadership skills.

We are a committee run Pre-school (parent run) where children learn through play as specified by Ofsted.

PROVISION OF A HYDROTHERAPY AND STIMULATION CENTRE IN FROME SOMERSET

Parental contributions to help enable the school to provide additional resources in support of excellence in education.

The key activities are to promote, protect, restore and create natural and constructed blue infrastructure, e.g. ponds, rivers and sustainable drainage features, to provide multiple benefits for the public and wildlife to combat climate change, deliver enhanced and resilient ecosystems and natural capital for amenity, biodiversity, educational, wellbeing, aesthetic and conservation purposes.

Community CPR and AED training.Provision of Public Access Defibrillators in places of need.Promotion of heart screening in young people.

The presentation of orchestral concerts, workshops and other educational/outreach projects to help to bring music into the lives of the general public.

Forest of Selwood is set up to achieve the following charitable objects:i. To promote the conservation of the natural and physical environment of the Forest of Selwood and its surroundings and to educate the public in its heritage. ii. To advance the education and awareness of the Forest of Selwood community and the public in the principles of biodiversity conservation and sustainability.

For music lessons in all styles by qualified experienced teachers on all instruments, singing and music theory. All ages , abilities welcome. Instrument hire, music library, music shop, practice rooms available. Music appreciation classes are held at the school which is also the public examination centre for practical music exams.

Safempowerment run workshops with boys and girls around mental health, respect and influence and staying safe, we also run sessions for women who have experienced trauma and who are struggling to move forward

Organise a diverse range of educational and events throughout each year. Attend a variety of shows and events in Dorset to raise awareness of the work the Women's Institutes do and to work on increasing membership. Work on active campaigns for better living for people and the environment.

Dorchester & West Dorset District Scout Council is responsible for providing Scouting for both boys and girls 6 to 25 in Dorchester and surrounding towns and villages in West Dorset. A structured programme of activities is designed to help youngsters with the guidance of trained adult leaders to achieve their full potential as individuals, responsible citizens and members of their community.

To act as a resource for children, young people and the wider community of Bridport, Dorset by providing them with a meeting and activity space, advice and assistance where they are in need of it and by organising programmes of physical, educational, and other activities.

Walford Mill provides the focus for encouraging, promoting and maintaining the highest standards of contemporary craft work in the region. It aims to encourage audience awareness through a programme of exhibitions and participation for all ages in a complementary education programme including lectures, seminars and practical workshops.

The John Thornton Young Achievers Foundation (JTYAF) is privileged to be able to support many young people to develop as individuals and achieve their ambitions in life. The young achievers who attain awards are selected for their demonstration of the Foundation's key values: courage, determination, unselfishness and cheerfulness in adversity.

The charity oversees the cooperative work of the churches of Weymouth and Portland. This includes managing the local CAP debt centre, CAP job club, various public activities in the area, a mission to primary schools and a bible week.

The promotion, for the benefit of the public, of urban or rural regeneration in areas of social and economic deprivation (and in particular in Bridport and the surrounding parishes).
