Cornwall Seal Group Research Trust: Research Engage Communicate Conserve. CSGRT gives seals a voice! CSGRT monitors and identifies seals in SW England using each seal's unique fur pattern and long term photo identification enables a picture to be built up about their lives. Research provides a foundation to inform the effective conservation of seals at the southernmost limit of their range.

The charity operates a community centre for Fordingbridge and the surrounding area. The community centre is used for activities that benefit members of our community in the areas of health, fitness, well-being, creativity and performance. Activities are available to all members of our community, with different activities of benefit to different age groups.

Advancing the education of the public in Bridport, Dorset and the surrounding area through the provision of a museum and historical reference centre.

The Charity provides educational , recreational and social activities in the Ferndown area of Dorset for those no longer in full-time employment. Currently there about 92 groups. Most activities are held from mid-September until the end of May. The subscription is £58 for our accounting year. We have approximately 611 members.

Sandy Hill Arts encourages the public to enjoy the creative arts in Purbeck, especially visual arts and crafts. We will promote participation in the arts through exhibitions of new work, events, performance and education, as well as working with community groups and schools. We want the natural setting of the site to be a new visitor attraction in Purbeck.

The prevention or relief of poverty in Ringwood, Fordingbridge, Verwood and such wider area as may seem appropriate from time to time by providing donations, items and services to individuals in need and or charities or other organisations working to prevent or relieve poverty and in particular by providing emergency food supplies and to help those in crisis including signposting to other agencies

Education/training

Providing accommodation via twelve properties in Wootton Fitzpaine to cater for the special needs of persons needing care and attention through age, infirmity, sickness, disability or poverty and either having been born in the parish of Wootton Fitzpaine or having resided in the parish or the immediate vicinity for not less than five years.

Provision and maintenance of Gospel Halls for Christian worship and preaching of Christ's Gospel. Members of the congregation preach the Gospel in local area and distribute Gospel tracts ( subject to Covid-19 restrictions )

The main aim is to promote sailing, making it accessible to all. Students follow the RYA syllabus to gain certification. Bursaries available for local students upon application. First Aid, Power Boat & Safety Boat courses held. Several local young students progress through the Sea School to become RYA qualified Instructors going on to train others.

The primary activity of the Charity is welfare assistance whereby assistance is given towards the cost of treating owned animals and in the case of feral and stray animals all of the cost is met.We have a telephone 'help line' whereby we receive calls from members of the public and deal with their enquiries.Continuation of a cat neutering scheme incorporating a micro-chipping arrangement.

The Church has continued to hold services on Sundays and Thursdays with additional functions, sometimes open to the public, on other occasions through the month. We have supported some external charities in response to appeals and we continue to be self sufficient for our own funding from contributions provided by our own members of which we currently have 177 registered

The objectives of the company are to educate the public in the dramatic arts and further the development of public appreciation and taste in the said arts in Yeovil and District.

Christchurch Priory means The Priory Church at Christchurch Dorset and its fabric, structure, fixtures, fittings, equipment, services monuments, decoration and ornaments.

The charity aims to educate the public in the arts and science of music by performing choral concerts of high standard with soloists of national standing. It is a mixed choir of about 144 voices and performs major works from the choral scene, from traditional classical to modern. Most of its concerts are in Salisbury Cathedral but occasionally it combines with other choirs and performs abroad

RELIGIOUS ACTIVITIES

The Trust provides grants and bursaries to assist with the education of students of any individual drawn primarily from the parishes of Piddletrenthide with Plush, Piddlehinton and Alton Pancras, and secondarily from those born or having their main residence in the County of Dorset.
