Our aim is to further the conservation and preservation of the Wild Bird species by providing a rescue, care and rehabilitation service for sick, injured, or orphaned wild birds, with the aim of eventually releasing them back to the wild to their natural habitat. Occasional rescue, care, rehabilitation & rehoming of other wild, abandoned, feral or injured creatures.

The object of the charity is the provision and maintenance of a village hall for the use of the inhabitants of the parish of Milborne-St-Andrew without distinction of political, religious or other opinions, including use for meetings, lectures and classes, and for other forms of recreation and leisure time occupation, with the object of improving the conditions of life for the said inhabitants.

Fleet Camps CIO continues the work of Fleet Camps Trust (registered 2004 - no. 1111017). It advances Christianity through running summer camps for young people and training them in Christian leadership. At present, it holds two camps for children and young people each summer at Fleet, Weymouth, Dorset, and follow-up activities in the Dorset area during the year.

Certain grants are for recreational and leisure activities provided in the interest of social welfare and designed to improve conditions of life. The 3rd Christchurch (Jumpers) Scout Group provides Scouting to young people aged between 6 and 14 years of age. Young people take part in activities based on the section they belong to and their age. The sections within the Group are Beaver Colony, Cub Pack and Scout Troop.

Bridport Community Shed offers all and any members of our local community the opportunity to meet, make and mend, in congenial surroundings. We do this from premises in the gardener's compound behind Bridport Council's offices in Mountfield, in the centre of Bridport, West Dorset.
