The Band aims to entertain and educate the public, through the promotion of the practice of Brass Band Music. In addition, it acts in support of such other charities as its Trustees decide. Any person may apply to become a Member. Implicit with that Membership is the expectation that the Member will be willing and eligible to play at Contests entered by the Band.

Operating in Somerset anad Dorset, delivering modern and relevant collective worship to primary schools. The use of multimedia and live music engages the children and young people and provides an opportunity for them to hear a gospel message that is relevant to them.

Fund Raising for School

We are a group of local people from the town of New Milton and the surrounding parishes and we operate a Mens Shed, which is a community space for men to connect, convers, and create. Members come together to share skills, knowledge, and experiences in order to enrich each other's lives. This is achieved by undertaking creative and practical projects and using the shed as a social networking hub.

To provide education and training to young people under the banner of scouting

To help individuals & organisations, both within the United Kingdom and worldwide in accordance with rotary international ideals.

The objects of the Society are the learning and performance of choral music and to foster public interest and enjoyment of such music by means of public performance.

Our main object is to offer small, rural churches the opportunity to experience cathedral-style choral evensong. Our week's summer tour visits five churches, educating both our participants and the congregations for whom we sing, in the styles and forms of Anglican choral music and achieving a high standard of worship. We encourage young singers to join us by means of scholarships and bursaries.

Perform annual Holy Week and Christmas concerts in Romsey Abbey, forming a part of the Abbey's seasonal religous activities.Perform a local summer concert.The choir also spends at least one weekend a year singing the services at a cathedral whilst the resident choir is on holiday.

A village hall providing a venue for hire for local people and groups, for social, educational, religious and other activities.

Citizenship Training of young people of both sexes, up to the age of 20 years old, including adventure training, as well as stimulating an interest in aviation.

DTCP offers up to two years of therapy or counselling on a once a week basis to those people living within travelling distance of Dorchester who cannot afford a private fee.

To apply the income of the Charity for the benefit of old and sick persons of small means in the parishes of Wimborne Minster, Wimborne St Johns and Colehill, providing nursing, medical, surgical and all other facilities, for their treatment of injury, sickness, disability and personal comfort.

Charitable Will Trust which makes periodical discretionary donations for charitable purposes and to Charitable Institutions.

Bridport Community Shed offers all and any members of our local community the opportunity to meet, make and mend, in congenial surroundings. We do this from premises in the gardener's compound behind Bridport Council's offices in Mountfield, in the centre of Bridport, West Dorset. Assisting and supporting Young Farmers in Dorset in accordance with the Charity's adopted constitution.

Pentecostal Christian fellowship services are regularly held for the benefit of the local community. Baptisms, marriages and funeral services are conducted. The Church's weekly publication is distributed worldwide.

To provide Scouting activities for young people aged 6-14 (Beavers, Cubs & Scouts) in accordance with the aims of the Scout Association.

The diffusion of Unitarian principles and the support of member congregations in their work in the community through regular meetings, social events and such other joint activities as may from time to time be decided.

Supporting children and young adults with life limiting conditions or terminal illness and their families who come under Southampton Children's Hospital, the Teenage and Young Adult Cancer Ward, Southampton and Naomi House Children's Hospice. We offer financial relief for families experiencing hardship and offer families the opportunity to make some magical memories

A village hall for the use of the inhabitants of the Parish of Wimborne St Giles, without distinction of political religious or other opinions including use for meetings lectures and classes and for other forms of recreation and leisure-time occupation. Subject to availability the hall may be hired by individuals and organisations based outside the Parish of Wimborne St Giles.

Education and leisure activities for the retired over 50's

We are a non-auditioning choir of around 140 adults from Sherborne and the surrounding area. We give one major annual performance in Sherborne Abbey as part of Sherborne Abbey Festival and also hold open workshops during the year.
