The AHCF aims to relieve financial hardship and improve the education of children and young people suffering from any form of poverty, illness or disability, in the UK and abroad. We give small grants and keep overheads to minimum. We raise money anyway by anyone. e.g. sewing educational displays. Stewarding volunteers at Glastonbury Festival make a great contribution to our funds.

Providing accomodation for retired Christian workers.

Operation and maintenance of Village Hall to provide community and recreational services to local inhabitants

We rescue small/medium dogs from shelters in Romania, where they are neglected, tortured, abused or even brutally killed. We pay for the dogs to be tested, spayed and prepped for travel (passport, vaccinations, microchip) and we pay for their transport to our rescue centre near Tiverton, Devon. They are assessed and then rehomed, mainly in the South West.

FOSSA is a rural primary school's PTA which raises money in order to buy equipment to enhance the school and provide a wider range of activities for the children. It also raises money in order to keep the school's swimming pool operating and runs the pool on a voluntary basis throughout the summer holiday making it accessible to all children, under 12, in the surrounding area.

Fund raising events such as discos, fetes, quiz nights, raffles to raise money to provide extra items and enriching experiences for the children at our school which are not provided for in the school budget.

Holding functions and events to benefit the residents of the village and local community, and to raise funds to maintain the fabric of the village hall - to provide a venue for community activites.

Provide a facility for use by the local community and the church, this can be for meetings, education, social and fund raising events. The village hall is also used by the Parish Council and as a polling station.

BAND PERFORMANCES ON LYMINGTON BANDSTAND DURING SUMMER; ANNUAL CONCERT; VARIOUS PERFORMANCES FOR LOCAL CARE HOMES ETC.

We have completed the refurbishment of our Hall, we now have modern kitchen and cloakroom facilities and a new heating system. The work was started in April and finished in October. The outside car park has been tarmac and we have a flat area for parking or fund raising.

Raising money for local, national and international causes, carrying out work in the local community

Fundraising through various events during the school year so that we can provide new play equipment and other much needed items.

The charity's activities are chanelled towards supporting its aim: 'To enhance the quality of life for local children and their families undergoing treatment for cancer'. We raise money, receive donations (which we gift aid). The money is spent eg. a weekend at Center Parcs for the children, siblings and parents. Families are often pauperised when a child is ill - we pay bills.

The trust has a small community hall in North Shaftesbury for the benefit of the local groups of the town, particulary those who live and/or work North of the A30/A350 road. It is also used for social occasions, clubs and family gatherings.
