Performing a high standard of choral chamber music in towns and villages in Somerset and Dorset

Management of a community library in Corfe Castle run by volunteers, with help from Dorset County Council. As well as library sessions, we run children's activities and host talks for the community.

The charity provides the village hall for the use of villagers and surrounding areas at a reasonable cost. The charity also organises events at the village hall for the villagers' benefit and it raises funds for maintaining the village hall.

FOSSA is a rural primary school's PTA which raises money in order to buy equipment to enhance the school and provide a wider range of activities for the children. It also raises money in order to keep the school's swimming pool operating and runs the pool on a voluntary basis throughout the summer holiday making it accessible to all children, under 12, in the surrounding area.

Fundraising for addtional resources for school.

The core function of the CCIO is to fundraise and allocate grants for the public benefit of groups and projects within the parish to which end at present there is a Grants Distribution Committee chaired by one of the Trustees and drawing its membership from the wider community.

This year the charity has donated sums of money (ranging from approx £25 - £1500) to local individuals, organisations and schools to provide support for specific aims and objects. The funds were collected through various activities including a Christmas Carol float, Food Festival stall, Christmas festival stall and collecting at a local annual Jazz Festival.

Fund raising to help education of children at Hyde primary school

Holding functions and events to benefit the residents of the village and local community, and to raise funds to maintain the fabric of the village hall - to provide a venue for community activites.

We encourage riders of all ability levels to meet for training, development and social purposes in order to generate a sense of identity, belonging and pride. We encourage them to be an active part of the wider community. We operate for the benefit of those living in Ringwood and the surrounding areas.

The Trust helps young people gain relevant experience in their chosen field to improve their employment prospects and preferably in a way which may lead to them employing others at some time in the future.It currently supports the Fresh Start Academy, based at Kingston Maurward College and the Junior Chefs Academy and Media Studies Department of Weymouth College both institutions based in Dorset.

Fundraising events on behalf of Woodroffe School

Recreation ground.

The purpose of the fund is to provide financial assistance for the advancement of education of students at The Woodroffe School, Lyme Regis. The trustees continue to apply the income of the fund to this purpose.

Giving grants to assist children and young people resident in or educated within Bournemouth, Poole and the Dorset area who face financial hardship and/or additional challenges due to their life circumstances to enable them to access music education opportunities.
