PROVIDES SPORTS AND LEISURE FACILITIES TO THE PARISH OF PIMPERNE AND SURROUNDING AREAS.

We are a unique society for the study and private performance of Bach Cantatas and related works.

The provision of the Village Hall for the use of all members of the Parish and their associations. This involves maintaining a rather ancient building to meet current Regulations and the convenience of the users. Activities are run to raise funds in order to undertake these works.

Organises social and fund-raising events at the school. Uses the proceeds to enhance the educational experience of the school's pupils and their school environment, beyond what would normally be expected to be provided by the local authority.

Raise funds for Allenbourn Middle School. Includes discos, summer fairs and raffles.

Recruiting, training, organising and supporting volunteers to coach to read adult members of the public who have reading difficulties and thereby promote, sustain and increase for public benefit individual and collective levels of adult literacy.

To meet weekly to support Stroke Survivors, helping them improve the quality of their lives by engaging in social,physical and intellectual activities to help them maximise their faculties and to give their families a sense of community. The Stroke Club will respond, where possible, to support the specific requests of applicants to the trust who cannot afford disability aids in their homes.

The preservation and protection of good health among people living with or affected by cancer and theirsupporters for the public benefit in particular by:a) the provision of facilities for exercise and physical activity, in particular dragon boating and otherwater sports capable of promoting physical health and fitness, to support rehabilitation during andfollowing cancer treatment.

Publication of journal 'Southern History' and arranging conferences, both for educational purposes.

Social activities for serving and ex RAF members and their dependants.Welfare/Financial assistance for these people

One alms house cottage let out.

To help with the maintenance and repair of St James' Church, Shaftesbury, Dorset. Together with fabrics and furnishings. To manage the field, St James' Field, for the benefit of the Church and community in general.

The Fund exists to collect donations from people who wish to subscribe to the upkeep of St Mary's Church & Churchyard in Bradford Abbas; in response to requests from the PCC it makes grants towards the cost of projects planned by the PCC.
