We are a PTA for a primary school responsible for raising money through the organisation of events / activities.

The Club is a member of Lions Club International which aims to foster a spirit of "generous consideration" amongst peoples of the word. We organize various events to raise money for local good causes and take an active interest in civic, social and morale welfare of the community, as well as promoting high ethical standards in members business and professions and the practice of good citizenship.

TO PROVIDE A HELP AND SUPPORT NETWORK FOR YOUNG PEOPLE UNDER 18 IN AND AROUND BRIDPORT , DOREST. THROUGH THE LOCAL SCHOOLS, CHURCHES AND ACTIVATIES AND EVENTS HELD IN THE AREA.

The trust grants scholarships and bursaries to musicians, choristers and choirs, for trianing purposes. Grants are made for the provision and maintenance of music, musical instruments and other facilities for providing music. Grants are also made for the provision of musical and choral education in schools, churches and the wider community.

aim is to provide a safe accessible route for walkers, horse riders, cyclists and the disabled to the benefit of both local inhabitants and tourists (visitors) to Dorset.Specifically to establish a Public Bridleway route along the course of the old Somerset and Dorset Railway line, initially from Stalbridge to Corfe Mullen and eventually to connect with the Castlemain Trailway at Broadstone.

Charmouth Almshouse Charity provides assistance where necessary to residents living within the Parish boundary i.e. financial difficulties due to theft, loss of job, accident, Hospital stay, desertion or a death. Annual grocery vouchers to those deemed in need. Help with school uniforms - College and Universary grants.

Supports funding for Beaminster School.

Provision of fortnightly extracts from local newspapers and media to registered blind and partially sighted recipients of our recordings in the North Dorset and South Wiltshire areas, edited and produced by volunteers.

The provision of swimming lessons, water therapy, carer respite and social activities to people of all ages who have physical, mental health or learning disabilities (and their carers) in the Wimborne and surrounding East Dorset area, in a safe and friendly environment (which is not normally provided by statutory authorities) to improve their health and wellbeing.

To provide support and financial assistant to all members and ex-members of the Royal Navy, Royal Marines, Merchant Navy, and WRNS. To assist any local charities with Naval influence. Wisdom Foundation encourage connections in the Globe through experience and learning, create Harmony by understanding differences - ages, cultures, environments...etc. We supports cultural and language learning via Bournemouth Chinese School to Bournemouth local. Our Penbuddies project links and trains children around the world from privileged background to supported background (orphanages).
