Our Mission is to enable people with disabilities to enjoy cycling and to give them opportunities for personal development by providing suitable cycles, equipment and support.

The charity is developing a MUGA multi-sports facility on the site of an old tennis court (part of the village green) for use by the local community.

Youth for Christ North East are a Christian Charity focused on working with young people in the North East. We're about seeing young people's lives changed by Jesus, by showing Jesus in a way that is relevant to every young person in the North East. We demonstrate the love of God, declare who Jesus is, encourage a decision to follow Him and disciple young people to live their lives to the full.

IN LIQUIDATION

To encourage the preservation and display public transport vehicles from the North East of England.

Scout Association Group with 2 Beaver Colonies, 2 Cub Packs and 2 Scout Troops.

Village hall used by the residents of the village & the surrounding district. Activities in the hall are:- meetings, exercise classes, demonstrations, craft fairs & functions both private and for the village.

Running Eggleston Agricultural Show

Rescues and rehabilitates sick, injured and orphaned hedgehogs. Takes in casualties from Northumberland in the North to Durham in the South.

To support the development of sport in the North East England through the award of grants to clubs and indivuals with particular emphasis on club coach training and development.

TO ADVANCE THE CHRISTIAN RELIGION IN PARTICULAR, BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY BY WORKING WITH THE PUBLIC AND EDUCATING THE PUBLIC IN THE NORTH EAST OF ENGLAND IN ORDER TO ENCOURAGE A GREATER UNDERSTANDING OF CHRISTIANITY. TO RELIEVE THE NEEDS OF THE PUBLIC BY PROVIDING OR ASSISTING IN THE PROVISION OF INFORMATION ABOUT AVAILABLE SERVICES FOR INDIVIDUALS AND THEIR FAMILIES.

Scout and Cub groups offering weekly meetings. Education and training of young people in scouting activities including camps.

We promote the Christian religion in various ways - Sunday and mid-week services, Prayer Meetings and Bible Studies. We hold regular social activities both in our church premises and at other locations depending on the activity. We have a very active Sunday School as well as mid-week outings for those who attend. We have a Women's Auxiliary group and a Craft Club open to all adults.

The task of the Northumbria Deaf Mission is to be the primary instrument of the Church of England in the Diocese of Durham and Newcastle in meeting the spiritual needs and pastoral care of deaf and hard of hearing people.

NCBF is an annual regional event held each November to promote the love of reading and books to children, parents/carers and teachers by facilitating author visits to schools,libraries and other regional venues.

The teaching of the Christian faith and beliefs to those who believe and the sharing of the gospel of salvation in the Lord Jesus Christ to those who do not believe. Meetings are held weekly and on an adhoc basis: these include Sunday Morning Church, Bible Study, Family Service, Coffee Mornings, mother and toddler and children's groups, for the promotion, development and enhancement of fellowship.

To benefit residents of Oakenshaw and surrounding area without distinction of sex, sexual orientation, race or of political, religious or other opinions to advance education and to provide facilities in the interest of social welfare for recreation and leisure-time occupation to promote other charitable objects for the benefit of the community

Distributions are in general applied to supporting charities that either operate or run specific projects in the North East that support children, the physically or mentally disabled and the disadvantaged.

To provide transport facilities in the North East for people who have special need of such facilities because they are elderly,poor or disables, people with young chinldren or those liviv-ng in isolated areas where there are no adequite public transport facilities.

Promoting of Christian faith through Sunday services, Bible studies, Sunday school for kids, evangelism through preaching and tract distribution. Operate in the entire North East region by regular prayer meetings.

TO PROVIDE FINANCIAL SUPPORT FOR RETIRED PRIESTS OF THE NEWCASTLE AND HEXHAM DIOCESE
