Amateur Symphony Orchestra. It aims to provide public concerts, charity music provision, and consultation to other music groups. (Minimum age 16).

Provide the opportunity, equipment and coaching/instruction for the participation in paddle sport primarily on the River Wear in Durham. Provide the opportunity for suitably experienced members to participate in paddle sport on other waterways and bodies of water by organising and promoting events to that end.

Fund raising activities over last year have included a ladies day which raised over £1200. We have a stall at the local Christmas markets selling our Christmas cards and second hand jewellery raised over £400. The committee hold a meeting once a month and we decided how we are going to spend the money within the hospital for the benefit of the patients and the wider community.

We are avery active PTA,raising funds to benefit the pupils of Woodlea Primary School, in County Durham.We use a wide variety of methods and events to raise money and are always looking for new ideas for fundraising and for exciting activities which the children can take part in.there will be a Halloween disco for the children,at Christmas they can visit Santa Claus and have their photograph taken

HVHA is the community association for the village. It operates the village hall used by local organisations - choral group, church, W.I etc. It organises the weekly quiz, monthly social nights, some family social nights, the village Exhibition Day, charitable events for causes such as Marie Curie, and provides a venue for hire for private parties such as birthdays, christenings etc.

Offering 9 to 17 year olds life-changing nautical adventure based on the customs and traditions of the Royal Navy. Opportunities include Rowing, Sailing, Power-boating, Kayaking, Adventurous Training, Seamanship,Cooking, Team-building and many more.

We are a friendly, motivated and progressive brass band. We have a flexible approach to membership and welcome players of varying ages and abilities. We have a training band, offering free tuition and instruments loan. We rehearse and are very active in the local community, representing Trimdon (and the North East) at concerts, civic functions and in competitions (locally and nationally).

We provide a rescue for domestic animals & wildlife. We have done more direct rehoming due to covid restrictions.Groups of all ages are welcome and the centre caters for the disabled.We provide animal and environment education for all age groups with customised training.

We are a self supporting Brass Band based in a small market town in County Durham. We play concerts for our own fundraising and for other local groups/charities. We aim to alleviate poverty at Christmas time within Teesside, we aim to providethe eldery in residential care homes, who are without family, with gifts at Christmas tobrighten their day and remind them that people are thinking of them.

The Charity operates in Upper Weardale, Co. Durham. It provides a venue for use by the whole community and includes various regular activities including Bowls, Keep Fit, Drama performances, Dance, facilities for birthday parties and weddings and also venues for Church Bazaars etc. There is a bi-monthly cinema club and a Community Fitness Suite.
