The East Durham Heritage Group was formed to celebrate the Social, Industrial and Maritime Heritage of East Durham and to pass on knowledge to all sections of the community, both young and old. THE OBJECT OF THE ASSOCIATION (THE OBJECTS) IS TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION OF PUPILS IN THE SCHOOL IN PARTICULAR BY: 2.1 DEVELOPING EFFECTIVE RELATIONSHIPS BETWEEN THE STAFF, PARENTS AND OTHERS ASSOCIATED WITH THE SCHOOL 2.2 ENGAGING IN ACTIVITIES OR PROVIDING FACILITIES OR EQUIPMENT WHICH SUPPORT THE SCHOOL AND ADVANCE THE EDUCATION OF THE PUPILS.

PTA activities, including fayres, sponsored activities, treasure hunts, Easter egg hunt, social activities etc., to raise funds for school linked purposes.

We provide respite to Parents/Carers through Activity Days and Activity Breaks for disabled people from 0 upwards, and their siblings.
