the group exists to provide & manage 3 angling events for the disabled ages from 7/77 each event is well supported by members Carers volunteers. These individuals are all registered disabled wheelchairs users, visual impairment and /or learning difficulties. The ethos of the group is one of friendship and social inclusion and promotes well-being & increases self-esteem amongst the disabled people.

The funding raised is used to support the Dancers of O'Hehir School of Irish dance, a dance school in the north east of England in a socially deprived region. Dancers require help with footwear, class fees, transportation costs to major competitions etc. The funds are also used for community events to bring pupils/families together to enjoy events such as pantomime trips & parties etc..

The aim of FOSS is to raise funds to help the school pay for items that they might not be able to afford otherwise and to do this by organising fun activities for the children and their families.

FUNDS RAISED FOR THE SCHOOL BY HOLDING EVENTS WITH THE CHILDREN OF THE SCHOOL

Relieving persons resident in area of benefit who are in conditions of need, hardship or distress - providing grants etc. To reduce need or hardship. Only applicable to Residents of Teesdale and Weardale & Wear Valley, Co.Durham.

The hall is well used and appreciated by the villages and surrounding localities, on a weekly basis we provide the following activities toddler group, social club for senior citizens, martial arts ,youth club, radio club, bingo night.. also private hire for childrens parties etc. We confirm that SVHA is currently open for use for the community and is expected to stay this way for the future.

Cub and scout group

Providing a 24 Hour Hospital Radio service to the patients, staff and visitors of Bishop Auckland Hospital, Darlington Memorial Hospital and the Richardson Hospital in Barnard Castle.

We are an all inclusive drama and musical society with a youth theatre. We perform throughout Northumberland and Tyneside. Our aim is to be an inclusive organisation. This is a holding note only until a full note can be prepared.

The governing instruments provide for the application of the income of the Charity in providing pensions to persons unable to maintain themselves in the area of the former Teesdale Poor Law Union and also Caldwell, Eppleby, Melsonby, Middleton Tyas, Barton, Reeth and upper part of Swaledale.

Sunderland AS is run by volunteers who promote the science of astronomy to the people of North East England. We host group visits to our observatory at Washington Wildfowl & Wetlands Trust as well as holding regular open evenings for the general public.

Application of the income of the charity for the benefit of the poor and needy or such other charitable institutions or other purposes as the members of the Rotary Club of Stockton-on-Tees shall from time to time determine.

The East Durham Heritage Group was formed to celebrate the Social, Industrial and Maritime Heritage of East Durham and to pass on knowledge to all sections of the community, both young and old. EDHG members work to collect, collate, display and curate photographs, documents and artefacts, including the lifeboat George Elmy, to ensure they are conserved for the benefit of future generations.

The objects of the CIO are:To further or benefit the residents of Seaham and the neighbourhood, without distinction of sex, sexual orientation, race or of political, religious or other opinions by associating together the said residents and the local authorities, voluntary and other organisations in a common effort to advance education and to provide facilities in the interests of social welfare

M.A.S. is a local history society that presents a series of lectures, outings and an annual exhibitiion.It is also actively trying to establish a local museum/heritage centre based on The Society's own collection.

Promotion of the military efficiency of Reserve Army units based in County Durham. Looking after memorials to the Durham Light Infantry and its members.
