Hear Me Out brings people living in immigration detention centres together with professional musicians and people living in the community, to create and perform powerful artistic work, and convey it to new audiences through live and recorded performance, thereby increasing wellbeing and empathy, and helping change attitudes to migrants.

DURHAM JOHNSTON COMPREHENSIVE SCHOOL FUND PROMOTES THE EDUCATIONAL ACTIVITIES OF THE PUPILS AT THAT SCHOOL WITH THE OBJECTIVE OF"Advancing the education of the pupils of Durham Johnston Comprehensive School by providing and assisting in the provision of the facilities for the education (including extra curricular education) of pupils at the school not normally provided for by the LA".

The trust is a grant making trust. Grants are commonly in response to appeals in support of welfare for those who are disadvantaged, young, elderly, disabled, as well as maritime and Service causes, education, training and employment opportunities, community benefit, historic buildings, the environment, music and the arts. Grants are made out of income and not normally out of capital.

Washington A.F.C is a community club striving to provide access to football for all. Based from our North East sports facility in Washington we encourage children from age 4 to learn and develop their skills, we provide training for age groups from under 7s to under 18s and aim to have at least one team in every age division up to Under 18s.

Love, Amelia provides essential and practical support to babies, children and those who look after them within Tyne and Wear and County Durham. We provide new and excellent quality pre-loved items, equipment and support to partner organisations and families experiencing poverty and hardship.

CDT currently runs a childcare centre, a family centre and is a landlord of three properties in Craghead offering reasonable rents to their local tenants.

Highlights is a network of 65 volunteer groups in isolated rural communities in Cumbria, Northumberland and County Durham. In partnership we organise - and subsidise - over 150 high quality professional cultural events per year in village halls, schools and community centres

To improve the life experience and skills of 100 disabled people each year aged 4 to 30 years living in the Durham City and Chester le Street area by providing supported access to mainstream leisure and social activities within the community on a regular ongoing basis.

We work to create equality of opportunity in arts and culture for disabled people in the North East of England. We do this by supporting and promoting the work of disabled artists, by enabling and facilitating disabled people to access all aspects of the arts, by assisting cultural venues to become inclusive and by presenting a programme of arts and cultural activity.

Activities include: Food for all programme, nutritious take away, Credit Union, Advocacy Support, Job Search, Foodbank, Youthgroup, Pop up Ping Pong Parlour, Community Gardens, intergenerational learning, Dementia Cafe, Activities and free snacks for children and young people during school holidays, community gardening, partnership work with schools and other local groups.

To provide refuge accommodation and outreach support to relieve distress and suffering experienced by women and children living in and around the area of Wear Valley, who have been physically sexually or emotionally abused (domestic abuse).

To promote community participation in healthy recreation, in particular by the provision of facilities for exercise, competition and recreation on the water and on land, safely, and by the provision of encouragement and instruction in the sport of rowing, for the benefit of the inhabitants of Newcastle upon Tyne and surrounding areas.

Triangular was initially set up in 2014 as a community group. As the number of beneficiaries grew and the work expanded, the trustees decided to incorporate the organisation in 2018 for more accountability and transparency. The object of the CIO is to advance the education and training of those granted refugee status, seeking asylum, recent migrants and their dependents.

The St Margaret?s Centre supports adults of all ages with mental health issues and other disabilities. It provides a welcoming therapeutic environment which encourages individuals to gain self esteem-confidence, learn new skills and to develop their potential .The overall aim is to improve the quality of their lives in as many ways as possible.

We work with migrant people in the North East of England, especially Sunderland. We focus on those with limited access to information and support network, including migrants and refugee and the Eastern European community. We came to being in 2009 and have now converted to a CIO. Birkheads Wild supports young people in Gateshead and the wider North East area to build a better future for themselves - using the outdoors. By using the outdoors we help young people to grow in skills and confidence, to think for themselves and become more fulfilled. Our work helps young people to understand themselves better, to feel a sense of belonging, to grow in skills and confidence.
