The trustees of the Village Hall Committee (& any volunteers) aim to provide a functioning village hall & grounds in Melbourne, East Riding of Yorkshire, for use by the community for a variety of activities that enhance physical & mental wellbeing, & leisure.

The principal activity of the charity is to relieve residents of Humberside who have attained the age of sixty years and who are in need of care and attention.

The Charity manages and maintains the local village hall for the use of the whole community.

The objectives of the Associate are stated as:a) the relief of povertyb) the relief of unemploymentc) the advancement of skills trainingd) the creation of workspaces for training opportunitiese) the promotion of opportunites for employmentf) the promotion of public safety and the prevention of crimeg) the promotion of chinese cultrue, art and heritage

To support with grants adults as individuals or groups with a learning disability/ difficulty who are, or were in the past, resident in the East Riding of Yorkshire. Such as projects, holidays, outings, and a wide range of community activity. Not those which should be supported by public sector.

We give grants to young people under the age of 25 for any educational needs they may have. These could be in the field of sports, arts, apprenticeship equipment, school trips and further and higher education expenses. The applicants must live in Beverley or surrounding area and/or go or have been to Beverley schools. We also give grants to organisations which deal with young people such as scouts

The Charity holds regular fundraising events for research into the diagnosis and treatment of Giant Cell Myocarditis, as well as for Sports and Music Development Grants of sums up to £500 to schools and community groups for children aged 5 to 11.Events to date have included Football Tournaments, Race Nights, live Music, including Ukulele, concerts, Quizzes and Sponsored walks.

A) THE ADVANCEMENT OF THE CHRISTIAN RELIGION FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT INCLUDING BY THE CARRYING ON OF THE SERVICE OF GOD IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE OLD AND NEW TESTAMENTS OF THE HOLY BIBLE AS FOLLOWED BY THOSE CHRISTIANS FORMING PART OF A WORLD-WIDE FELLOWSHIP KNOWN AS THE 'PLYMOUTH BRETHREN CHRISTIAN CHURCH' (THE 'BRETHREN')B) ANY OTHER CHARITABLE PURPOSES CONNECTED WITH BRETHREN.

Friends of Melbourne School objective: the advancement of education by providing support to, and enhancement of, Melbourne Community Primary School for the benefit of all children who attend the school, including children who attend from the surrounding villages of Melbourne in the East Riding of Yorkshire.

Snaith Primary PTA's objectives are to advance the education of the pupils in the school, by providing facilities, equipment and activities which will support this, as well as developing effective relationships between the school, pupils, parents and the local community.

Raising money to supplement the school budget for the benefit of all the children at the school.

Fund raising activities to raise money then used for the benefit of children attending Brough County Primary School.

Provision of financial support to other charitable institutions

A charity that wants to bring provisions for the young people of Market Weighton and surrounding villages. We would like to provide a safe place for the young people to take part in fun events, learn life skills and relax with their friends.

Sport/recreation

Provision of a playing field and recreation ground for the parish of Eastrington.

Within the Parish of Goole Goole Civic Sociey CIO will - i.Promote high standards of planning and architecture in or affecting the area of benefitii. Educate the public in the geography, history, natural history and architecture of Goole. iii. Secure the preservation, protection, development and improvement of the environment and sites of features of historic or public interest.
