The charity is a grant giving charitable trust.

To pay or apply the income of the charity for the benefit of such charitable purposes as the trustee sees fit. The charity favours educational establishments and youth groups in the Hull area. The charity does not accept applications from individuals.

The charity awards scholarships tenable at a university or other education establishment in the UK to a) Kindred of William Akroyd who died in or about 1518 and b) Persons who have attended secondary school in the County of York. It also makes grants to Batley Grammar School Foundation and the Council of the University of Leeds.

The Trust provides campsite facilities and indoor accomodation for members of the Scout Association and other bona-fide youth groups set within mature woodland. Outdoor activities such as archery, crate stacking, an aerial runway and a climbing wall are either on-site or under development. Indoor accomodation can accomodate up to 24 people in two and four bedded rooms.

Operates as a village hall for hire and for the use of residents.Renovated in 2010 New frontage and front door 2011-12 and 2012-13 respectively. Main hall flooring replaced 2014.

We are a small community village hall. We plan to use it as a community hub.

Considers applications for financial assistance to those who need help within the Barmby Moor Parish boundery from schools, children's activity groups, elderly people etc.

Our aim is to promote, improve, develop and maintain public education in and appreciation of choral music in all its aspects by the presentation of public concerts and recitals and by other such ways.

The fellowship exists mainly for two reasons: 1) To give adults and children an opportunity to worship God and have a stronger faith and understanding of the Bible through Sunday worship and midweek groups. 2) To get alongside people who need help and befriends non-church people in the community through the Swinemoor Estate Charity Shop in Beverley.

Fundraising on behalf of Holme on Spalding Moor Primary School to enable them to purchase additional educational tools that may be required.

We raise money for donation to Beverley Minster C of E Primary School by involving pupils, parents and staff in fundraising events. We target donations that will support a variety of educational activities including school trips and equipment and benefits all pupils.

Young Person's scout group

The village hall is for the use of all villagers and surrounding villages. It is used for charity, educational, social and recreational purposes. The Village Hall Committee raises money for the upkeep of the hall.

Fundraising for school

We now have a satelite post office in the hall, open once a week on a Thursday. Alongside this runs a coffee shop which provides a valuable gathering place for young and old from the village.

We administer a recreational area which encompasses a football field, cricket pitch and play area, including child play area and equipment and young adult/adult fitness equipment. Our associate members include the local cub, brownie and rainbow groups, cricket club and football club. This area is available for use to all comers and buildings are available for rent if wanted.
