Discos for pupils in Key Stage 3 held in school on a Friday Evening 3 times a year.Each year we hold a Christmas/Easter/Summer Bingo, these 3 events are open to the public and attract a great deal of support from the local community.We use Bags2school to generate income 3 times a year.We hold at least 1 school non-uniform day and help at other school events throughout the year.

To support charitable fundraising activities and events in and around the village of Withernwick, working in partnership with other village groups, charities and organisations to enable the young people and the older people to come together for sociable events at venues provided by the charity in the village .

Concert Band

providing and the running of the village hall for the use of the villages parishoners and any groups or persons who wish to hire the premises

Raise funds in support of other charities. Hold branch and social meetings for members. Take part in annual parades eg. Remembrance Sunday.

To provide financial assistance to churches in the Society's area for the purpose of maintaining and improving their bell installations. This is of benefit to the public because many people like to hear church bells, whether to call to worship or to celebrate events, and the art of bellringing is part of our cultural heritage.

Charitable trusts for the public benefit in North Yorkshire and Humberside in particular with regard to the improvement and preservation of the environment.

Playing field

The Society organises an annual Music Festival of mostly competitive classes held in 3 or 4 venues in the seaside town of Hornsea over a period of either 3 or 4 days. It is held during the first week of July. Fund raising social events such as Coffee Mornings and Garden Parties may be held at other times throughout the year.

The object of the association (the objects) is to advance the education of pupils in the school in particular by:2.1 Developing effective relationships between the staff, parents and others associated with the school2.2 Engaging in activities or providing facilities or equipment which support the school and advance the education of the pupils.
