The aim of the Community Centre Management Committee is to preserve and maintain the Grade II listed building for the benefit of the community of Wold Newton and surrounding area.

The Hall operates as a centre for village activities, providing a meeting place and social arena for village life. It is available for use by the general public for private functions, as a meeting room for Parish Council or other groups.

Provides grants to talented youngsters with a special, dedicated interest in sport, art, music etc.

Providing social activities for older people includes coffee mornings, coach outings, meetings with speakers and the National Pensioners Parliament.Providing adovcacy services in respect of attendance allowance, carers allowance, disability living allowance, pension credit, housing benefit and council tax benefits.

We raise funds to buy educational material requested by the staff of the school via fairs, discos, raffles and bun sales held at the school.

Subsidises educational visits and visits to the school by travelling theatre groups and sports coaches. Buys extras, e.g. books, for the school.

Women's Institute. Monthly meetings, Group Rallies with linked Institutes, Federation Council meetings, courses, outings etc.

We are able to help residents of Snaith & Cowick in times of need with a one off payment or in certain circumstances help with ongoing hardship

HULLHARP is a HULL based charity that provides services to homeless men and women in the Hull, East Yorkshire and surrounding areas. Services include: accommodation, resettlement support, day centre and rough sleeper outreach service.

Discos for pupils in Key Stage 3 held in school on a Friday Evening 3 times a year.Each year we hold a Christmas/Easter/Summer Bingo, these 3 events are open to the public and attract a great deal of support from the local community.We use Bags2school to generate income 3 times a year.We hold at least 1 school non-uniform day and help at other school events throughout the year.
