The Shiptonthorpe Relief in Need Charity is to provide need for the benefit of the Inhabitants of Shiptonthorpe and Londesborough Parish's.

Provision of Christmas Hampers to deserving residents of the parish

Relief of need in ancient parish of Kirkella East Riding of Yorkshire

Christmas cheques to the widows of past members. (currently 6 x -ú25.) Occasional donations to Military Charities, Help for Heroes, Afghanistan Trust etc. Assistance can be made available to members and/or close family if and when required.

Grants to local school

ACT serves the people of Anlaby Village, Anlaby Common, Anlaby Park and Rokeby Park (West Hull). We are working with local groups and stakeholders on projects including a community garden, to help us bring communities together and address issues affecting children, families, the lonely and isolated in this often overlooked part of Hull and East Yorkshire.

WE OPERATE IN THE KINGSTON UPON HULL CITY COUNCIL AREA AND SOME EAST RIDING OF YORKSHIRE. FUND RAISING IS USUALLY DONE BY OUTSIDE BODIES AND DONATIONS GIVEN TO THE SCHOOL.

The trust supports the ministry at St Andrew's Kirk Ella.

Marritt and Ombler Foundation gives financial awards to children under 25 living and/or educated in Keyingham to help with educational, social. physical and emotional development.

The charity runs the Barrow-upon-Humber Ringing Centre, a specialist centre of excellence in the teaching of the heritage art of English Change Ringing which is based at Holy Trinity Parish Church at Barrow-upon-Humber, Lincolnshire.

(1) GRANTING OF PRIZES AND REWARDS TO CHILDREN WHO ARE AND HAVE FOR NOT LESS THAN 2 YEARS BEEN SCHOLARS IN THE PUBLIC ELEMENARY SCHOOL IN THE PARISH OF SOUTH CAVE,(2) FOR THE MAINTANCE AND REPAIR OF FABRIC FOR THE CHURCHES OF SOUTH CAVE AND BROOMFLEET AND MAINTENANCES OF THE SERVICES AND FURNITURE.(3) TO THE TRUSTEES OF THE CHARITY OF SAMUEL JOBSON FOR THE POOR.

Raising money to support building restoration work of St Mary's Church Etton. Events include the Annual Stephen Rambaut Memorial Lecture.

Provides small annual grants to local residents aged 80yrs or over who live independently (ie not with a younger generation).

Assists pupils from Beverley High School with individual grants for art and culture.

Provision of open play space and associated pavilion providing opportunities for the improvement of life for the people of Preston.

Originally to help the poor of the village. Income from rented land. Gives vouchers to inhabitants male who are 65 years old and lived in village and surrounding area of West Newton at christmastime including disabled children

Parents and teachers association raising funds to improve the school environment and funding educational visits.

We have been holding regular meetings both for men and women. We've just opened a new venue in Hull at Ye Old White Harte in Hull's old town. This is a more centrally located venue and easier for clients to get to.

To apply the income of the charity in promoting the education of persons under the age of 25 years in the parish who are resident and in need of financial assistance and for older people in the parish who are resident and in need of financial assistance.

Benefits initiatives put forward to improve village amenities

Through the use of Clothing Collection Bins, Fundraising Events (eg: Coffee Mornings) and collection buckets, we provide Small Grant's to local groups and organisations within the Beverley Area. (Beverley, East Riding of Yorkshire) covering Beverley, Molescroft and Woodmansey.
