The primary aims of the Trust are to fulfil the role of a Christian Church in the Hull area for those wishing to follow the doctrine of the Holy Scriptures, and to promote the Christian faith throughout the UK.

THE PROMOTION OF COMMUNITY PARTICIPATION IN HEALTHY RECREATION IN PARTICULAR BY THE PROVISION FOR ATHLETICS, IN PARTICULAR RUNNING AND FITNESS WALKING.

Choices and Rights Disability Coalition (CARDC) are an organisation run and controlled exclusively by disabled people in the Hull and East Riding area. One of our key roles is to support disabled people and their families to employ Personal Assistants, so they can live independent lives.

The furtherance of the Religious and Charitable Purposes of the Religious Society of Friends (Quakers) in Britain within North and East Yorkshire and beyond. We hold Meetings for Worship at Beverley, Hull, Kirkbymoorside, Malton, Pickering, Scarborough, Whitby and RAF Fylingdales; provide grants to projects within our Quaker ethos; and provide Quaker Chaplains at Hull Prisons and Hull University.

To enable equality of opportunity for all members of the community to have access to quality arts provisions. Artlink aims to provide quality artistic and cultural activities throughout Hull, East Riding, North Linconlnshire and North East Lincolnshire. It has four areas of delivery; outreach arts projects, gallery development, training and the provision of information.

To provide information, advice and guidance to members of the minority ethnic communities in Hull and the surrounding areas.

Religious Activities

THE SUTTON HOO SHIP'S COMPANY WILL RECONSTRUCT THE SHIP BURIED UNDER MOUND 1 AT SUTTON HOO AROUND 625 . THE SHIP WILL BE BUILT ON THE SURVIVING INFORMATION AND THE BEST ARCHAEOLOGICAL RESEARCH OF THE DAY. THE SHIP WILL BE TRIALLED ON THE WATER TO TEST HYPOTHESES ABOUT ITS USE. THE BUILD AND TRIALS WILL INVOLVE SHIPWRIGHTS AND ROWERS OF ALL ABILITIES, THE COUNTRY WILL ACQUIRE A HISTORICAL ICON.

The celebration of public worship. The teaching of the Christian faith. Mission and evangelism. Pastoral work, including visiting the sick and the bereaved. Provision of facilities with a Christian ethos for the local community, including (but not restricted to, the elderly, the young and other groups with special needs. The support of other charities in the UK and overseas.

The aims and objectives of the Trust are to improve the quality of life for children and their families whom are Underprivileged, Disadvantaged or Disabled. Whether this is caused by social, physical, mental, emotional circumstances , or as a result of extreme poverty. The Trust provides through their five holiday homes, Free Holidays or Respite breaks for the children and families.

The Charities activities consist of making grants to other charities/voluntary bodies in the medical, child protection and advancement, and the general sector. Its area of operation is mainly but not exclusively East Yorkshire and North Lincolnshire

Fulfilling the aims of the national Scout Association in the counties of North East Lincs, North Lincs, East Riding of Yorkshire and Kingston upon Hull for young people between the ages of 6 and 25.

The South Holderness Methodist Circuit serves a group of Churches in East Hull and the East Riding of Yorkshire.

The provions of donations to support registered charities or for charitable purposes benefiting people living in Hull and the East Riding of Yorkshire. National charities are supported but only if they carry out work in the local area.

Spreading the Gospel and providing pastoral care for everyone in the parish.

We are a religious Methodist Organisation who act as an umbrella and resource body supporting local Methodist churches to educate people about our religion and to support members through mission and evangelism. The Circuit offers support and pastoral care to local churches carrying out their religious activities. The Circuit provides buildings and facilities to help members with their outreach.

Community Transport Partnership

Provides community transport for the elderly, disabled and rurally isolated in Beverley, Pocklington, Market Weighton and the surrounding villages.

Advancement of the gospel of Jesus Christ to all mankind in word and deed.

HOWDEN SHIRE HALL TRUST.Providing a Hall for the people of Howden and the surrounding areas. Recognised as the Hub of Howdenshire and ERYC Tourist Information Point. A place for leisure, entertainment and activities for all generations. Activities include classes, live events, cinema and home to the local weekly Howden Market and Community Cafe.

Pre-School Nursery Education

To promote such charitable purposes for the benefit of members of the Black and Minority Ethnic Communities in the Humber region and in particular, the relief of poverty, hardship and distres; the promotion, preservation and protection of health; and the promotion of equality of opportunities and access to all facilities and services available to all citizens within the area of benefit.
