Choices and Rights Disability Coalition (CARDC) are an organisation run and controlled exclusively by disabled people in the Hull and East Riding area. One of our key roles is to support disabled people and their families to employ Personal Assistants, so they can live independent lives.

Working Locally in the East Riding area to help unwanted and abandoned dogs by taking them in, feeding, providing shelter, healthcare and any other needs. Finding new homes, assessing new homes, adopting out the dogs.Provides a Community Facility for Dog Owners to go to get education and advice on dog ownership.

Pyramid of Arts works to establish inclusive creative communities that engage & empower people regardless of their level of disability or disadvantage. It specialises in arts provision that includes people with learning disabilities, enabling them to work with the wider arts community & professional artists in quality creative projects. Its emphasis is on collaboration & collective achievement.

We provide support to those affected by asbestos related conditions, across Yorkshire, Humberside and North Nottinghamshire, to those diagnosed plus their families. Every year, our charity receives over 300 new referrals and we help each individual access (on average) over £24,000 income, plus providing emotional and bereavement support and organising social groups and events for our service users

providing transport facilities for people who have special need of such facilities;providing opportunities to establish and grow businesses to relieve the needs of those people and assist them to integrate into society;.providing advice, guidance and training to develop the capacity and skills of the members of the socially and economically disadvantaged community.

We provide a community transport service for the habitants of Goole and its neighbourhood who are in need of such a service

ALSO A SUPPORT SERVICE TO CARERS WITH DEPENDENTS WHO HAVE CANCER. ALSO A 'TELECARE' SUPPORT SERVICE IN ASSOCIATION WITH PCT AND SOCIAL SERVICES.

Provision of sporting/recreational activities

We collect unwanted items such as wheelchairs and bikes and take them to prison workshops where they are restored.We then hand the restored items to partner charities for distribution to people in need who can not afford such articles.We then report to the prison workshops as to where the articles went and who benefitted.

The aims and objectives of the Trust are to improve the quality of life for children and their families whom are Underprivileged, Disadvantaged or Disabled. Whether this is caused by social, physical, mental, emotional circumstances , or as a result of extreme poverty. The Trust provides through their five holiday homes, Free Holidays or Respite breaks for the children and families.

We deliver innovative and challenging learning programmes for children and adult learners. Although the Centre has a broad range of programmes and initiatives, the main focus is on raising levels of both literacy and numeracy using the stadium as the classroom.We work with schools and education providers to design packages to support the needs of identified groups of all ages and abilities.

Provision of sports facilities and activities

Tickton Pre School & Tickton Play Pals is a combined pre school & out of school club serving Tickton and surrounding areas. It offers a setting for 2's to 4's to learn & develop through play during the day. 3's to 11's can play or relax before and after school at Play Pals which operates from 7:30am - 5:30pm Monday to Friday. The setting is staffed by a dedicated and qualified team.
