The Good Company People carries out its purposes by providing relief to (a) people who are experiencing loneliness and social isolation and/or experiencing cognitive changes, living with dementia or other disabilities and (b) to their informal carers. Our beneficiaries will usually be over the age of 65 but TGCP does not limit its services solely to the elderly.

To spread the good news of Jesus to the church family and wider community.

TO PROVIDE RELIEF AND ASSISTANCE OF CHILDREN UP TO THE AGE OF EIGHTEEN AND THEIR FAMILIES/CARERS SUFFERING OR RECOVERING FROM CANCER AND CANCER RELATED CONDITIONS, WHO PREDOMINATELY LIVE IN EAST SUSSEX AND BRIGHTON & HOVE, BY GRANTING FEASIBLE WISHES AND PROVIDING EMOTIONAL AND PRACTICAL SUPPORT TO THESE CHILDREN AND THEIR FAMILIES.

Western Sussex Rivers Trust (WSRT) is dedicated to the environmental protection and enhancement of the Western Rother, the Arun and Western Streams including their tributaries. WSRT works with local people & communities, farmers, landowners and the statutory bodies to conserve and improve local rivers.

The Sussex MS Treatment Centre provides therapies and support for those living with neurological conditions, principally multiple sclerosis

The charity is part of the national and international scouting association operating in Eastbourne, East Sussex. The charity supports members of all ages by offering scouting activities. The Trust aims to conserve and improve the rivers, streams and other waterbodies of the Sussex Ouse and Adur catchments, and elsewhere as deemed appropriate in the Environment Agency's South East region, for the advancement of environmental protection or improvement for the benefit of the public, including through education and participation in research and a range of appropriate projects.

Promoting the Gospel in the Parish of Rye with Rye Harbour

To provide various means of educational financial assistance to persons under the age of 25 who are residents of the Borough of Hastings or who have attended schools in the Borough for more than 2 years.

This Charity exists to alleviate suffering and distress caused to dogs, and in particular to the breed known as Boxers, which may be ill-treated, abandoned or neglected or, more often these days, a change in family circumstances. Where necessary veterinary treatment is provided before a dog is settled into a new and loving home which has been previously checked by us and found suitable.

Lotus Families is a small, women-centred charity based in East Sussex, dedicated to the prevention of abuse and violence against women and girls (VAWG), and to supporting long-term recovery. Since 1996, we have specialised in services for women with children living across East Sussex and Brighton & Hove.

The charity's objects are to foster and promote community participation in health recreation, for the benefit of the inhabitants of Bexhill, East Sussex and the surrounding districts.

Our mission is to secure and share the legacy of influential wild gardener William Robinson (1838-1935) with the public through Gravetye Estate, Sussex. Our vision is to improve biodiversity and to develop a Climate Change and disease resilient woodland landscape through exemplary stewardship and experimentation. We will help people to learn from nature through William Robinson's teachings.

RELIGIOUS ACTIVITIES

The Charity continue to manage the Catholic parishes of our Lady of the Visitation Greenford, St Mary Star of the Sea Hastings, St Thomas Moore Barking, St Vincent De Paul Dagenham. All of our parishes provide a full range of services to the Catholic community. We also provide a range of facilities for the wider community.

To provide social activities, Health and fitness and rehabilitation through information and recreation activities. Support, and advice to blind and partially sighted people, and physically disabled people. Holidays for Disabled people

We support family members of people who are facing imprisonment, imprisoned or leaving prison by offering advice, advocacy, information and emotional support; signposting to other appropriate organisations when appropriate and providing training, information and resources to professionals who work with prisoners' families.

Pre School Nursery Education, plus Breakfast and After School Clubs,

We are committed to follow the example of Jesus Christ in his compassion for the poor, vulnerable and marginalised by alleviating poverty through education, vocational training and use of sustainable resources. We support a number of projects in Malawi, link schools in Malawi to schools in the UK, sponsor secondary school students in Malawi among other activities.

Charitable activities relating to the NHS, wholly or mainly for the service provided by the Queen Victoria Hospital.
