The Sussex Syrian Community Group aims to empower Syrian refugees in Sussex to build integrated, stable and happy lives in the UK. We create spaces for Syrians to come together, often with others from the wider community in Brighton and Hove, to celebrate our history, culture and resilience. We run language courses, skills courses, and provide advice and help with accessing services.

To provide for the benefit of pupils in Chailey Heritage School, including their educational and health needs.

Caring for Joshua Hayday presented many challenges. Through the projects that we, JHHHT, support and the initiatives we work on, we hope to help families facing similar challenges. We provide therapeutic counselling support to young people who are struggling with their Mental Health. In addition we provide a safe, non-judgemental environment for their parents, carers and families.

The trust was set up for the purpose of the relief and education of poor and distressed persons or such other charitable purposes as the Club shall define in duly constituted meetings.

To provide a venue for use of local clubs and groups to meet and hold events.

The Charity is dedicated to the advancement of education, the relief of poverty, hardship and distress and the preservation of good health among communities (particularly in Nepal) by such exclusively charitable means as the trustees shall from time to time determine.

Provides facilities for sports and recreation, and for lectures, meetings, exhibitions, concerts and educational purposes.

Provision and organisation of groups for study and recreation for older people no longer in full time employment.

We over a lunch ( 2 courses) service three days a week Monday, Wednesday and Friday between 10.30am - 2pm traditional meals all home cooked. Anyone over the age of 55 can attend members and non members are all welcomed. We also offer companionship where friendships are formed, warm space and general advice. We also run a Snooker club Weds, Sat mornings, and Bingo every Friday 2.15pm-4.15pm.

As a trustee for Mencap, the role involves overseeing the charity's strategic direction and ensuring it fulfils its mission to support individuals with learning disabilities. Trustees are collectively responsible for:Ensuring Mencap operates in accordance with its governing documents and complies with relevant laws.Making decisions that are in the charity's best interests.

The Hall is available for Clubs, Associations, Parish Council, Doctor's surgery, Chiropodist, Nursery and Play School, weekly Lunch Club for the elderly, table Tennis, and for private functions.
