South Downs Summer Music International Festival is an annual week-long classical music festival in the village of Alfriston, East Sussex, featuring both world class and up and coming young artists.

Co-ordinates volunteers to provide support to those who are socially excluded to assist them to integrate into society. Referrals to the scheme are made from GP Surgeries, charities and other organisations with those in need being matched to volunteers participating in the scheme.

Raising money and giving charitable donations to local charities in Sussex and the surrounding counties, who support young people up to the age of 18 coping with illness, disabilities of all kinds and those who are disadvantaged. Funds are raised from donations and charitable events.

Provide grants of financial assistance to children from economically disadvantaged backgrounds to access football and futsal coaching services in London and Sussex.

To help children and young adults aged 18 and below who are from deprived backgrounds and/or who are mentally and/or physically disabled to enjoy a better quality of life by making grants of money for providing or paying for items, services or facilities.

To promote for the benefit of the public the conservation, protection and improvement of the physical and natural environment of the Cuckmere Haven West Beach and Cliffs

MLTC has as its objective the promotion of community participation in healthy recreation for the benefit of the inhabitants of Maresfield and surrounding districts by the provision of facilities for the playing of lawn tennis.

Caterham, Oxted & Godstone Lions raise funds within the Tandridge DC area by organising events such as Barn Dances, Quizzes, Dinner Evenings, Music Concerts as well as collecting from the public with a Christmas float and catering at local fetes. The Lions Club supports local needy causes in their community including flood victims, Caterham Food Bank, St Catherine's Hospice and KSSA Ambulance.

The Charity (Buxted CEP School Parent Teacher Association), raises money through fundraising activities to support the needs of the school.

Sussex Search and Rescue is the primary volunteer resource used by Sussex Police in the search and rescue of vulnerable missing people. We are on call 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, and are fully approved by Sussex Police policy. SusSAR is staffed purely by volunteers, who as well as covering the whole of Sussex, can also be called out to assist other Search and Rescue groups throughout the UK.

Brighton Exiled/Refugee Trauma Service (BERTS) provides mental health treatment and support to refugees, asylum seekers and destitute migrants in the city of Brighton & Hove

To further or benefit the residents of Langney and the borough of Eastbourne by associating together the said residents and local authorities voluntary organisations in a common effort to advance education and provide facilities in the interests of social welfare for recreation leisure time occupation with the objectives of improving conditions of life for the residents

The Trustees' objective is to promote mainstream church music both in choral and instrumental form.

The Woodingdean Community Association provides facilities within the Community Centre for all residents to access. It is used for functions, clubs, societies, teaching, group meetings, dance classes and also large gatherings for the elderly who can be housebound for the majority of their time. It is also used by local colleges for courses for residents. There is also a kitchen area for all to use.

A men's shed is a community-based, non-commercial organisation that is open to men. Men's sheds provide a place where men can feel included and safe. The aim of men's sheds is to improve the health and wellbeing of their members. We are located in Bexhill-on-Sea on the south coast and are open to all on Wednesday & Thursday whilst preserving Monday & Tuesday for men.

Parent Teacher Association, with primary focus on fundraising for Downlands Community School in Hassocks, West Sussex.Activities include prize draws, quiz nights, summer fair, christmas market, prom fashion show, catering for school events.

Community Hall for the benefit of the inhabitants of Hailsham, East Sussex

The charity organises and promotes arts events and literary events and makes literary productions for the education and entertainment of the general public. The charity also runs creative writing classes and other participative activities.

The Monday Group preserves, maintains and protects local Rights of Way and other access routes, for the benefit of the community and visitors, to facilitate and encourage their use by all. it undertakes the clearance of overgrowth, maintenance of path surfaces, assembly, installation and repair of suitable furniture such as stiles, gates, walkways, way markers and occasional seating.

Provision of Social Housing

To advance education and in particular the education of people not in full time gainful employment who are in their Third Age (being the period of time after the first age of childhood dependence and the second age of full time employment and/or parental responsibility) residing in Hawkhurst and its surrounding location.

The choir aims to benefit its members and the wider community by the performance of a varied repertoire, principally Baroque, to a very high standard. It uses professional soloists and orchestral players who bring to performances a wide experience with some of the best-known ensembles in the country. On occasions the choir also collaborates with other choirs for special projects.
