The Seahaven District Scout council is the electoral body which supports and encourages the development of Scouting within the part of the county of East Sussex between Telscombe Cliffs and the Cuckmere Valley

To help young people and all other age groups via:1. Training at the Fresh Start social enterprise2. Provide personal support & activities which develop the skills, capabilities & confidence3. Provide direct support and guidance on job seeking and employment advice4. General community, health & heritage projects and developments for all age groups within the BN41 postcodes.

The Charity raises money for charities,hospitals and other good causes local to Hastings by holding fund raising events and collections.

Loop Dance Company's founding vision is to 'loop' together contemporary dance training, performance, participation and appreciation. Current activities include Loop's touring programme and the LoopEd outreach programme; Dance & disability, Dance & Curriculum projects in schools and Dance & Health projects for the community as well as the Dance Artist Support Programme for recent dance graduates.

The object of the Band is to promote, improve, develop and maintain public education in and appreciation of the art and science of music in particular brass band music by the presentation of public concerts and recitals and by such other ways as the Band through its Committee shall determine from time to time.

Promotes the interests of inhabitants of the North Laine Area of Brighton by working with the local authority, police & other voluntary groups. Residents with a concern can raise it at one of our monthly meetings or in our newsletter, the Runner. At meetings, in the Runner and on our web site, useful information such as local history or forthcoming social events of the association is given.

The maintenance and improvement of 5 almshouses in Wadhurst for the benefit of poor people of good character who must normally have been resident in Wadhurst for not less than the two years next preceeding their residency in the almshouses.

Donated tools and sewing machines etc are refurbished by volunteers, so contributing to a green environment with nothing sent to landfill. Crucially this equipment is passed to organisations creating sustainable businesses in the poorest parts of the world so improving livelihoods. Our Workshop became a charity in 2023 after 5 years of operation.

To foster interest in the Church and to cooperate with the PCC in the preservation and improvement of the fabric, furniture,stained glass and monuments of the church and its churchyard, which may include reasonable contributions to the everyday running costs of the church and churchyard and in furthering any other scheme or project to help in maintaining their safety, beauty and utility.

Hastings Athletic Club, founded in 1964, is based at the Ark Alexandra School athletics track. We are affiliated to the South of England Athletic Association (SEAA), Sussex Athletic Association (Sussex AA) and England Athletics (EA) for Track and Field, Road Running and Cross Country.

This is a grant making charity which aims to distribute approximately one year's income in the course of each financial year to registered charities

Provide a Village hall for community groups and activities

A youth Charity Branch of the Marine Society and Sea Cadets offering adventurous training and activities developing young people for 10-18 in self relaiance and team work based on the customs and traditions of the Navy

We are a school PTA raising money and having fun at the same time for our school children. We hold events such as quiz nights, firework parties, summer fairs and discos.

Enable girls and young women to fulfill their potential, take an active role in society and widen their horizons through camps, pack holidays and helping those in need

Bexhill Choral Society is a choir which welcomes members who enjoy singing. We rehearse on Wednesday evenings and hold 3 concerts each year, held in a local venue.

The object of the CIO is to further or benefit the residents of Eastbourne and the neighbourhood, without distinction of sex, sexual orientation, race or of political, religious or other opinions by associating together the said residents and the local authorities, voluntary and other organisations in a common effort to advance education and to provide facilities in the interests of social welfare

The Society's objectives are to educate the public in the art and science of music and to futher the development of public appreciation and taste in music and for such other charitiable purposes as the Committee may from time to time require. It achieves these objectives through the presentation of concerts and participation in music festivals.
