Fundraising for our school, running events for the children and the parents, to build a social community within the school's family and the local community. Events include the May Fair, children's disco, cake sales, raffles, quiz night, cheese and wine evening, children's crafts and recycling schemes.

The charity is a Village Hall.

St Andrew's CE Aided Parent Teacher Association raises funds to provide extra resources to support the education & welfare of the children attending the school.

PROFESSIONAL ORCHESTRA BASED IN KENT; WORK INCLUDES EDUCATION OUTREACH PROJECTS WITH SCHOOLS AND BRINGING MUSIC TO NEW AUDIENCES. ALSO PROVIDES PERFORMANCE PLATFORM FOR OUTSTANDING YOUNG SOLOISTS. ALSO AVAILABLE FOR WORK WITH CHORAL AND OPERA ENSEMBLES AND FOR HELP TO PROMOTE WORK OF NEW COMPOSERS.

Promoting, supporting, assisting and improving the Museum of Winchelsea; maintaining and preserving or assisting in the maintenance and preservation of the Ancient Monuments of the town.

To advance, improve, develop and maintain public appreciation of and education in the art and science of music.

The charity holds and arranges drop in sessions to provide support for those with children with learning difficulties, as wellas offering and providing funding where necessary, and organising social days with parents and carers. The charity is currently raising funds to purchase a holiday home to offer families in need.

The Eastbourne Sea Cadet Unit was formed in 1909 and affiliated to the Navy League in 1915. It is an Independent Registered Local Charity which provides constructive activity on a Royal navy theme for young people between 10 and 18 years of age to occupy their spare time. No national funding is provided, although the Royal Navy loan uniforms and some boating equipment.

Arranging fund raising events in the school to raise money to donate back to the school for the children of Cradle Hill.

Provide a Hall and facilities as our village's home for all kinds of activities and events. Large lawn area enables outdoor events in good weather. It is busy but hire fees do not fully cover outgoings so the Committee also run fund raising events such as a monthly Village Market, Allotments and Film shows. Also we house local and general elections and the local emergency centre.

Encouraging understanding and involvement in music in the community

To promote and practice horticultural activities at a greenhouse in Alexandra Park (Hastings) and further restore the structure to bring it back to full use for the benefit of the community. The greenhouse is available to the community, to use the practice of horticulture as a route to mental and physical well-being, through a combination of hands on experience, education and social exchange.

The prevention or relief of poverty anywhere in the world by providing or assisting in the provision of education, training, healthcare projects and all the necessary support designed to enable individuals to generate a sustainable income and be self sufficient.

The Village Players provides an opportunity for people to understand and appreciate dramatic art.

The upkeep and maintenance of the Parish Church of St. Thomas in Camber and the Thomas Longley Church Hall adjoining the church. Any income which cannot be applied for the aforementioned object of the charity may be applied for the furtherance of the religious and other charitable work of St. Thomas in Camber.

To protect, update and repair for the future the property of the Queens Royal Hussars Collection, and to maintain and run three museums to display it.

PATINA organises teachers, parents and artists to work with children in the Lewes District in East Sussex on arts events, of which the main one is a costume parade through the town to celebrate year 6 children moving on to secondary school, where the costumes are designed and made by the children with guidance from parents and artists.

The pit stop youth trust provides a range of support services and activities to young people.

General charitable purposes

The objects of the CIO is the promotion of religion in accordance with the principals of the General Assembly of Unitarian and Free Christian Churches. We provide a place of worship to serve the local community of Hastings and Rother districts of East Sussex through the use of its building and its members time for the promotion of educational, spiritual and charitable activities.

The Society raises public awareness of Round Tower Churches within the United Kingdom, promotes knowledge and understanding of the architecture and religious symbolism, and gives grants to help maintain them.
