Mayfield Scouts and Guides. Activities are co-ordinated by the Scouts & Guides Associations at national and local level.

Our activities are focused, but not exclusively, on keeping the two Terrier locomotives which we own or part-own in active service for the public benefit. The locomotives are based on the Kent & East Sussex Railway that operates public train services.

Scouting

We maintain a collection of military memorabilia. We stage exhibitions, hold meetings and arrange visits to educate the public in the wartime heritage of our country. We support military and other charities. We remember that the peace most of us enjoy today came at a price: it had to be fought for. We do this in the hope that the lessons of the past will help to secure peace for the future.

Fundraising for the benefit of the pupils of Seaford Primary School.

The provision and maintenance of a Village Hall for the use of the inhabitants of Chailey without distinction of political, religious or other opinions, including use for meetings, lectures and classes, and for other forms of recreation and leisure-time with the object of improving the conditions of life for the said inhabitants.

Support of additional facilities and activities for the children of Sedlecombe Church of England Primary School

TO ADVANCE PUBLIC EDUCATION IN THE HERITAGE AND ARCHAEOLOGICAL IMPORTANCE OF WINCHELSEA, PROMOTING RESEARCH AND PUBLISHING THE RESULTS, CONDUCTING OR ASSISTING SURVEYS AND OTHER INVESTIGATIONS OF LOCAL ARCHAEOLOGY AND HISTORY, AND OTHER ACTIVITIES. TO PROMOTE THE PRESERVATION AND PROTECTION OF FEATURES OF ARCHAEOLOGICAL IMPORTANCE IN WINCHELSEA.

The promotion of community participation in healthy recreation and the advancement of amateur sport for the public benefit by the provision of facilities for playing Squash and Squash 57 in the counties of East and West Sussex.

Loop Dance Company's founding vision is to 'loop' together contemporary dance training, performance, participation and appreciation. Current activities include Loop's touring programme and the LoopEd outreach programme; Dance & disability, Dance & Curriculum projects in schools and Dance & Health projects for the community as well as the Dance Artist Support Programme for recent dance graduates.

The main aims of Bishopstone Parish Hall Management Committee is to provide a community hall for the benefit of local users, regular hirers and village events. The Hall is the only public meeting place of a non-secular nature in the village.

Providing and maintaining homes for aged persons and insofar as the income cannot be applied as aforesaid the trustees may apply income for relief in need, for the benefit of the public, of aged persons lining in or near the area of benefit.

A national organisation for girls and young women. Providing the opportunity to take part in huge range of activities and events. Providing opportunities for social and personal development.

We provide social activities for people with dementia and their carers. Operating in Eastbourne and the surrounding areas. At present including singing, games, cinema, coffee morning, indoor bowls, digital friends and an allotment group.

We raise funds by holding several events during the school year. Funds are spent to enhance the school experience of Ark Blacklands Primary Academy pupils. A proportion of funds are allocated annually to each year group to be spent on workshops/trips. The remaining funds are used for extra books/ICT equipment, play equipment etc. Any staff member can request funding by applying to the charity.

Ringmer Primary and Nursery School Parent Teacher Association aims to fulfill its objectives by holding safe, fun and stimulating fundraising events that are inclusive of the school its pupils, their parents, staff and the local community.

To provide fundraising to provide resources and enrichment activities for Rocks Park Primary School

The aim is to help young people towards responsible adulthood using a nautical theme based upon the customs of the Royal Navy. Through adventurous activities, Cadets become self-reliant, and through teamwork develop consideration and respect for others. The Corps encourages high personal standards and a sense of purpose, and provides a sound foundation for future careers.

The provision and maintenance of low cost housing in particular for those involved in local christian ministry work.

Learning and performing choral works with professional orchestras and soloists. Also visiting and entertaining residents in local nursing homes.

To provide entertainment for the village and support village functions

To support local units of girl guides, brownies and rainbows.

School fayres, discos, London to Brighton Bike Ride refreshment stall (supported by ride organisers), frozen Fridays, non uniform days, personalised gift commission, bake sales, second hand uniform sales, penny wars

We run various events in association with the school with the aim of generating additional income for use by the school for the benefit of the school pupils.
