We provide assistance to those who are in need, whether young, middle aged or senior, locally,nationally and internationally dependant on their situation and our funds available.

The purpose of the PTA is to enhance the education of the pupils in the school by:Developing effective relationships between the staff, parents and others associated with the school.Engaging in activities or providing facilities or equipment which support the school and advance the education of the pupils.

We run a well-maintained and versatile Village Hall, built in 1936 for the benefit of the local area of Telscombe Cliffs and Peacehaven which is managed by a board comprising representatives of our user groups and co-opted members drawn from the local community.We are home to a thriving Nursery School, Guides, Brownies and several dance groups as well as hosting private parties and other events.

Provide space, facilities and tools to allow local people to develop their hobbies and pursuits in a sociable and friendly environment. People may work on personal projects and are also encouraged to work on projects for the wider community. We are also provide a friendly place for a cup of tea and a chat.

To promote the permanent preservation of the Mill at Clayton known as Jill (hereinafter called the Mill) as a building of historical and architectural interest for the education and for the benefit of the public generally.

Rye Wurlitzer Academy is the only project in the world with an ethos of teaching students how to play the theatre organ through providing them with regular lessons on a Wurlitzer theatre pipe organ and giving them an electronic organ for home practise, all for FREE! The Rye Wurlitzer Academy relies solely upon donations, sponsorships and staging of fund-raising events to continue its work

To advance, improve, develop and maintain public education in and appreciation of the art of music through public concerts, and to create opportunities for musicians to meet, make music and to receive training and advice to developtheir individual skills and the capabilities of the ensemble.

We support three causes close to Connor's Heart:(1) Supply local football clubs with Defibrillators(2) Provide professional football coaching to children in special schools(3) Raise awareness for Organ Donation & Organ Transporation

Annual Winter fair, annual summer fair , sponsored events, craft days for children, cake sales, trips, discos, and school visits.

Making donations to charities, voluntary bodies, institutions and other organisations for the benefit of local & international projects with particular emphasis on assisting the disadvantaged and the elderly. The club have supported a project in Sierra Leone to build a village. This finished in the autumn of 2011.

The charity's main activity is to promote and develop public education in an appreciation of the art and science of choral music through the staging of at least three public concerts a year.

For the benefit of those who live within the old boundaries of Hove or Portslade who are sick, convalescent, disabled, handicapped or infirm.

Essentially we are a village hall, providing low cost space to village groups,organisations and providing space for private events such as childrens parties, anniversaries etcWe have some 20 regular organisations using the hall from the Players on a weekly basis to recreational groups meeting once a month

The Hastings Sierra Leone Friendship Link was founded in 2003 to help Hastings SL to recover from the devastation it suffered during the Rebel War, and to build a relationship between Hastings UK and Hastings SL. The Link carries out regeneration projects in the village; supports links between community groups and schools; and plans projects in the areas of health and economic regeneration.

The Friends of Maynards Green are dedicated to fundraising for additional equipment and resources to be used in school to enhance the current curriculum and the children's educational experience. We, as a committee of parents and the school community, organise events and celebrations for the pupils and their families to raise money and to provide fun, social opportunities.

Maintain contact between past and present members of the regiment; fostering esprit de corps, comradeship and the welfare of the regiment and preserving its traditions; to relieve either generally or individually members of the association, past or present members of the regiment and their dependants who are in conditions of need, hardship or distress.

OPERATIONS ARE LARGELY OF A FUNDRAISING NATURE, WITH EVENTS ORGANISED FOR THE SCHOLCHILDREN OF PLUMPTON SCHOOL, THEIR PARENTS, THE STAFF AND THE LOCAL COMMUNITY. TYPICAL EVENTS INCLUDE VILLAGE JUMBLE SALES, A CHRISTMAS FAYRE, A SPRING BALL, AN END-OF-TERM BARBECUE, AFTER-SCHOOL SWIMMING CLUBS, AFTER-SCHOOL ENTERTAINMENT CLUBS, QUIZZES, SCHOOL CALENDARS, AND AD-HOC EVENTS.

We aim to prevent drowning, promote water safety & safe enjoyment of water activities. We give training in personal survival, water safety, lifesaving & life support to all ages. We provide lifeguard & first aid services to water sport & leisure events eg rowing regattas, sea swims etc. We run in-shore rescue boats, paddle craft with mobile first aid equipped with medical oxygen & defibrillator.
