The Trust usually supports 3 pupils at schools in the UK. Candidates should have a proven track record, e.g. good GCSEs or equivalent, and are normally assisted with a proportion of school fees for 2 years, leading to A Levels or equivalent university entrance qualifications. Applications are only accepted from schools which have awarded a bursary of at least 25% of the fees.

Fund raise for the school

The objectives of the charity are: To advance the musical education of the public. To support any Charity or Charitable purpose as the committee shall from time to time direct. For 2009 this has consisted of public performances during the course of the year.

The Charity owns 2 Almshouses. Both are a 1 bedroom house. One occupied by a single person and one by a couple. The Trustees' responsibility is the upkeep of the houses and welfare of the occupants.

The charities main aim is the relief and prevention of poverty helping to support venerable members of society get back on their feet

Recreational activities.

The Weald Society arranges holidays for people with disablilities in it's own chalet at Greatstone. Fees for the use of the chalet are required but can be reduced by applying for a bursery. Forms are available by post. Money for the burseries is provided from the profits of the charity shop which operates in Hawkhurst. If funds allow the charity also offers grants for disability aids.

The principal objective of the Trust is to preserve, maintain and develop the buildings and facilities of the Westgate Chapel, Lewes for the greater benefit of the Westgate Chapel community and the wider public.

We are a group of parents that fundraise for our children's school, we organise events to raise money.

Provides financial assistance for the maintenance and upkeep of the church building and grounds of Beckley Parish Church.

The village/parish hall is let out regularly to kindergarten; yoga; embroiders guild; local band; Quakers. It is used as an excellent "awayday" venue, by local councils and organisations. It is also let for local weddings, christenings and funerals. It is a voting station.

Conservation, maintenance and restoration of Shoreham Fort, a scheduled ancient monument.Education of the historical importance of this unique site through guided tours, presentations and reenactment displays which bring history to life.

The building is used as a community facility current regular users include a fitness club, twirlers, 2 table tennis clubs, a slimming world, s special needs art and social group and a steel drum band. It is also popular for children's birthday parties and for social events by local communmity groups and is utilised for church events.

Self help learning organisation for older people, with over 20 interest groups including history, current affairs, languages, art, craft, walking, birdwatching and computing.

Sea Cadets is a voluntary organisation for young people aged 12 to 18 with Juniors aged 10 to 12. They offer a wide range of activities including sailing, canoeing, rock climbing, engineering, IT and communications, music and cookery.
