The advancement of education for the public benefit by: 1. The restoration, preservation, operation, and improvement of the windmill at Windmill Hill, East Sussex, BN27 4RT; 2. The provision of public access to the windmill and the encouragement of the study of the windmill by the public.

We maintain a Museum which is manned by volunteer Stewards with local knowledge to help visitors learn about Newhaven and the surrounding area. We have a keyword searchable database providing access to information within the 20,000 photographs and other materials held. We also hold public lectures on local history and attend local community events.

Raising funds for school equipment and extra-curricular activities.

Raising money for the care and maintenance of 2 medievil churches in the Hastings Old Town

Fund-raising activities such as Christmas and Summer Fayres and Firework Display, to provide facilities and items for education at school, for the benefit of all the children at Silverdale.

Serves the Sudanese community in Sussex

Fundraising from organising events, summer fairs, commissions etc purely to benefit the teachers and pupils of the school by purchasing play/learning equipment and subsidising events/trips.

Our activities include Outdoor events: canoeing, hikes, nature trails, wide games, camping, rockclimbing and other scout activities. Improving social and community skills

We aim to relieve the suffering of stray and abandoned cats by providing shelter and veterinary care, promote neutering of animals and educate the public in animal welfare matters to prevent cruelty and suffering

The Ben McNicol Trust raises funds to support the ongoing use of it's property 'Ben's House' for children undergoing cancer treatment. The accommodation is located near to a specialist children's cancer hospital (the Royal Marsden Sutton). We are involved in various fundraising projects in order to achieve this goal. The provision of a wide range of information to local residents and visitors to the area. This range includes tourist information, bus and train timetables, details of local activities, hotels and B&Bs, also local authority information and Government leaflets concerning welfare issues and benefits. Up-to-date computing services can now be accessed by visitors to the Centre.

The aim of the scout association is to promote the development of young people in achieving their full physical, intellectual, social and spiritual potentials, as individuals, as responsible citizens and as members of their local national and international communities.

The Veterans Volunteer Service supports military veterans' positive mental and physical health through volunteering in the community.The Veterans Volunteer Service provides a programme of initiatives that utilise military veterans skillsets to build community resilience.

To enable as many students as possible to enjoy a fulfilling college experience and reach their full potential by raising funds to support activities which would otherwise be beyond college resources.

Promote interest in, and understanding of, the history of Wadhurst and surrounding parishes, and related subjects, through monthly talks open to all, through research and publication of the results, through three newsletters a year and visits to places of historical interest

The band continues to promote and teach brass band music in the community and regularly supports other organisations with their events and fund raising. The band has made a number of donations including to Chestnut Tree House and Brighton Hospital
