Chantry Quire performs approximately three to four concerts per year. All performances offer the generalpublic the chance to advance their education in, and appreciation of, the art and science of music. The group does approximately 20-25 rehearsals per year, which allow the members topractise their individual skills and improve and hone the standard of the group and performance.

Fundraising for Roselands Infant School and Stafford Junior school, Eastbourne. Raising money to purchase educational equipment, games and furniture to help enhance school life for the children attending the School.

The objects of the association are to advance the education of the pupils of the school by providing and assisting in the provision of facilities not normally provided by the LEA. By:a) Fostering extended relationships in the school community.b) Engaging in supporting activities.c) Support and help fund improvements.

Makes grants to charities

Arts4Kent raises funds to support national and local museums, galleries and art- and culture-related projects. It does this primarily by means of offering a programme of lectures, visits and other events to the general public. Surplus funds raised are granted to national and regional museums and galleries.

This charity has been converted to members only and it held its first AGM under the new constitution on December 13 2019. New trustees have been elected and are now registered. The charity is working within the Combe Valley helping the Combe Valley Countryside Park Community Interest Company.

The Trust made a total of 55 (2033:49) grants in 2024 averaging £244 (2023:£310).A very high proportion were to single parent families struggling to pay bills for essential costs of living and unforeseen expenditure.2024 saw a 59% decrease (2023-67% increase) in donations and a 9% (2023:19%) decrease in grants.A very successful appeal for funds was made in April 2025.

This charity raises money by running events at the primary school. The funds raised are then used to buy items for the school that could not be otherwise afforded.

Slinfold Concert Band regularly performs music at public concerts & community events, for example on bandstands in public parks & town centres, at fetes, for Remembrance Sunday & Christmas church services & at indoor concert venues.Slinfold Concert Band members meet weekly for rehearsals where they learn to play as an ensemble, improve their playing skills and develop their musical repertoire.

The charity provides complementary therapies in the Royal Alexandra Children's Hospital for patients and staff and to the wider community in the Brighton area.
