Amateur Choral society

The restoration and maintenance of Willingdon/Polegate tower windmill and milling museum, Willingdon, East Sussex as a heritage monument and educational resource open to the public.

In the Royal Borough of Tunbridge Wells and the towns and villages of the Kent and Sussex Weald: - to provide outreach programmes of music and entertainment for the benefit of the young, old and underprivileged members of the community, and - to provide festivals of the arts and entertainments.

We provide soup, sandwiches and hot drinks and a listening ear to adult persons (aged 18 years and over) suffering from homelessness, addiction, mental illness or loneliness. We are open on Thursday nights from 7.15pm-8.45pm. This work is a practical expression of our Christian faith. We also sign post guests to other useful agencies.

Fundraising Activities for Mile Oak Primary School, i.e Annual Summer Fayre and Firework Extravagansa

Provision of pensions, grants, clothing, fuel, medical attention, treatment, requisites, food and comforts to poor and necessitous persons who by reason of old age, infirmity or otherwise are in need of assistance. 2. Providing for the education, training or setting up in business or professions of children of parents unable to do so by reason of poverty.

Charity objects: The object for which the Association is established is to promote, through the comradeship engendered by its members, the welfare by charitable means of all serving and former members of Her Majesty's Air Forces, their spouses and dependants, together with the widows and widowers and dependants of those who died whilst serving or subsequently.

Lewes Open Door runs a support service for guests to receive food, drinks, clothing, toiletries and bedding .We provide signposting to statutory & other voluntary services and limited outreach in accompanying individuals to appointments with recovery services, GPs & other health services, banks, the Job Centre & similar organisations.

Recreational activities.

PRESERVING ANCIENT WOODLAND LEASED FROM ROTHER DISTRICT COUNCIL. THE WOODLAND IS PRESERVED AND MANAGED AS A PUBLIC AMENITY.

The Society was founded to encourage the knowledge and study of history within Battle and the surrounding area. This is achieved through a programme of illustrated lectures by specialists in their subjects and the publication of books and journals that are relevant to the local history of Battle.

We hold monthly lectures on geology & related sciences, run geological day field trips & an annual residential field trip. We publish our journal, Outcrop, twice a year, maintain our website and support local geological initiatives. We have a table at Festival of Geology, Sussex Min & Lap, day events at local museums, support the Worthing Heritage Alliance & answer queries from the public.

Parent Teacher Association raising monies to provides goods and services to enrich childrens school lives at our own school and outside trips.

We are a local community choir promoting the enjoyment of singing in the community.

This charity works on behalf of the local community to promote social cohesion.
