Southern Riders is a regional group of RoSPA affiliated Advanced Drivers And Riders (RoADAR). Our Group is exclusively geared to advanced motorcycle training and has members from all walks of life who ride all makes and types of motorcycle.

Bacchus Wind Orchestra is an orchestra which practices wind orchestra music both for the education and enjoyment of its members and with a view to playing concerts for public audience for their enjoyment and education.

Organising 3 Summer concerts of chamber music by professional musicians.

Promoting and conserving traditional folk music in the community, providing a friendly environment for its members to enhance their musical skills and giving performances mainly but not exclusively in the Essex area.

Staging events to raise money for local and international good causes, etc working with the members of the Rotary Club of Uckfield. Distributing funds to other charities and worthy individuals and groups. The bulk of funds are used within the Uckfield Community a small part being used for international projects.

Scout Group

East Sussex Advanced Motorcyclists is affiliated to the IAM RoadSmart and provides mentoring to all motorcyclists in the East Sussex area to enable them to pass the IAM advanced motorcycle qualification test. In addition the we advise/educate on road safety issues to the public and hold/partake in events to increase awareness of road safety issues and training available to make public roads a safe

To promote, improve, develop and maintain public education in and appreciation of the art and science of music particularly but not exclusively in the Parish of Mayfield East Sussex

We raise funds by holding several events during the school year. Funds are spent to enhance the school experience of Ark Blacklands Primary Academy pupils. A proportion of funds are allocated annually to each year group to be spent on workshops/trips. The remaining funds are used for extra books/ICT equipment, play equipment etc. Any staff member can request funding by applying to the charity.

Raising charitable funds to support High Hurstwood School improving education and pastoral care of the children

The Fund was established over 90 years ago to assist present pupils who have been at the School for at least two years, Old Roedeanians and their daughters, granddaughters, and great-granddaughters. There is a preference for pupils at the School who are studying at Sixth Form level. The Award is means-tested. Award holders are selected by the Trustees from a list put forward by the School.
