Relief of Poverty

THE COMPANY PROMOTES AND PRESENTS PUBLIC PERFORMANCES OF OPERA, OPERETTA AND MUSICAL THEATRE. IT PARTICULARLY AIMS TO PROVIDE OPPORTUNITIES FOR SINGERS, DESIGNERS, DIRECTORS AND MUSICIANS TO DEMONSTRATE AND DEVELOP THEIR TALENTS AT AN EARLY STAGE IN THEIR CAREERS, AND ENCOURAGE THE DEVELOPMENT OF KEEN AMATEUR SINGERS.

The club holds fund raising activities. The Charity aims to help the young and old plus people with special needs. This is undertaken by giving to other charities, schools and voluntary bodies. It also supports the international charity Rotary Foundation and charities active in disaster relief worldwide

Village Hall serving Litlington, Lullington and West Dean parishes. Also used by external organisations on an ad hoc basis. Provides venue for meetings (eg Parish Council), yoga, music and upholstery classes, church and parish parties and events and private children's parties.

A wide range of physical, interlectual, social and spiritual activities designed to help young people's personal development and to encourage them to play a full and active part in society.

Raising charitable funds to support High Hurstwood School improving education and pastoral care of the children

To further the education of pupils at Grove Park School, by the provision of facilities, activities and resources not required to be provided by the Local Authority. To further such charitable purposes for the benefit of the children who attend Grove Park school and those under 25 years who have attended Grove Park school previously as for the Charity trustees think fit

The advancement of the arts, culture, heritage and science of East Sussex (including the City of Brighton and Hove) in particular by assisting in the use, maintenance and improvement of archive services at The Keep,Brighton BN1 9BP. This includes the promotion of archive services; raising funds in order to make grants; providing assistance; and stimulating public interest in the archives.

Make donations, general charitable activities

To advance education in the area of Tunbridge Wells, in traditional Scottish Country Dancing: in particular by (a) preserving and furthering the practice of traditional Scottish country dances; (b) providing or assisting in providing instruction in the dancing of Scottish country dancing; (c) promoting the enjoyment and appreciation of Scottish country dancing and music by any suitable means.

Provision of space & facilities for Parish Council and other village organisations

To consider and award financial grants to students of Rye College (formerly Rye Grammar School and Thomas Peacocke School) to meet their educational needs within the terms of the trust deed. To consider and award financial grants to Rye College to meet the education needs of its students within the terms of the trust deed.

Parish Council - provision of recreation facilities.

In accordance with our founder's lifelong wish to promote and enhance religious activity in the parish, particularly through St Mark's Church, the trustees have agreed to provide some funds for the maintenance and reordering of the church. The converted building will serve both for worship and for use by the whole community with facilities for meetings, social and recreational activities.

Staging events to raise money for local and international good causes, etc working with the members of the Rotary Club of Uckfield. Distributing funds to other charities and worthy individuals and groups. The bulk of funds are used within the Uckfield Community a small part being used for international projects.

Youth Centre for young people of Robertsbridge & surrounding area

The advancement of the Christian faith in accordance with the Statement of Beliefs appearing in the schedule hereto in East Sussex and Kent and in such other parts of the United Kingdom or the world as the charity trustees may from time to time think fit.

The promotion of community participation in healthy recreation for the benefit of the inhabitants of Groombridge and its surrounding communities by the provision, maintenance and management of Groombridge Sports Gound and its facilities, in particular but not exclusively for activities such as football, school and village sports and tennis.

The object of the Band is the promotion of the art of music for the public benefit, specifically Brass Band and popular music, by providing opportunities to play and by the presentation of concerts and other activities in the wider community

The Trustees' responsibilities are to raise funds to maintain and run the village hall for the benefit of the local community.

The club provides amateur boxing for all age participants in a structured environment, offering a safe space for physical activity and social interaction under the the authority of England Boxing.

To provide assistance to local charities and individuals

Wildlife resacue, rehabilitation and release in the Bexhill and Hastings are. Promoting and raising awareness of best practice and care of wildlife to the public.
