GENERAL CHARITABLE PURPOSES, EDUCATION AND TRAINING, RELIGIOUS ACTIVITIES, SPORT AND RECREATION, ENVIRONMENTAL

Sussex Brass provides music and entertainment as well as an environment for learning music.

WE RAISE FUNDS TO SUPPORT VARIOUS PROJECTS WHICH THE SCHOOL WISHES TO UNDERTAKE, PARTICULARLY LARGE CAPITAL PROJECTS. WE ARE ALSO A HOME SCHOOL FORUM AND WE ARRANGE SOCIAL EVENTS WHICH PROMOTE THE COMMUNITY OF THE SCHOOL. BY DOING THESE WE AIM TO PROMOTE THE EDUCATION OF THE CHILDREN OF THE SCHOOL.

To provide the facillities and other resources so that social events and clubs can flourish in the villages of Ashburnham and Penhurst.

To relieve aged, impotent and poor people of all classes, for the advancement of religion and education and for other charitable purposes beneficial to the community of Rotherfield.

Operating from within the Langney Shopping Centre in Eastbourne, we are a community-run library for the residents of Langney and surrounding areas providing free membership to those that wish to use the library to borrow books and/or use the library's laptops to e.g. access/send emails and access the Internet. We offer IT support. We offer printing/ photocopying facilities (at competitive rates).

We promote positive wellbeing through outdoor activities as well as peer support we have regular health walks gardening, litterpicking and are looking at more training to offer a wider range of sessions to benefit all beneficiaries. we are based in hastings east sussex and operate in hastings and so local surrounding areas.

PARENT TEACHER FUND RAISING

Following our highly successful production of Aida in Heathfield, East Sussex in October 2015, we are currently considering our options and plans for another production. Additionally, our charitable objects have now been extended to allow us to support music more widely (not just opera) and to provide grants to aspiring musicians.

Management of our Heritage Centre Museum located in the Town Centre and Custodians of the artifacts, documents, photographs and displays. The Society holds monthly meetings with guest speakers and occasional guided walks in the locality and other related activities.

The objects of the charity are to promote the arts for the public benefit in particular the art of poetry and to advance public education and appreciation of the art of poetry in Chichester District, South Downs and surrounding areasby providing an annual poetry festival and/or other poetry events and/or educational outreach programmes and by the publication of publications.

Monthly meetings with speakers. Lunch, mahjong. Bursary to one or two members per year for further education. Outings to theatres, places of interest.

The application of the income of the Charity for the benefit of needy persons living in Battle and Netherfield selected by the Trustees. This includes payment of heating grants, childrens' grants and special grants.

Rotary Club - Raising funds for good causes

The Charity used to receive income under Gift Aid from its contributors and distribute these funds at the discretion of the Trustees, and on the recommendation of the contributor to Charitable causes supported by the Trustees. The Trust has now transferred its activities to Impact Giving (UK) Trust and is in process of closing down. No applications for funding will be considered.

Provision of information on local activities and places of interest for local residents and visiting tourists.Organisation of a low cost transport service for elderly and disabled local residents to access medical facilities, using volunteer drivers.

(1) To foster friendships formed by former members of Chailey Heritage School, both staff and pupils, and maintain contact with all old scholars. (2) To support the aspirations of the modern heritage and help maintain its traditions and history. (3) To maintain a benevolent fund to provide financial assistance as appropriate and to exercise due to discretion in making distributions from the fund.

To contribute to the development of young people in achieving their full physical, intellectual, social and spiritual potentials, as individuals, as responsible citizens and as members of their local, national and international communities.
