The Carers Centre for Brighton & Hove takes a holistic approach to all its work, considering the needs of carers, and those they care for. Core activities include information and advice giving, advocacy work, emotional support, one to one casework, support groups and activities for both adult carers and young carers.

The objects of the Company shall be for the benefit of the public across Sussex to (i) protect and preserve public health and (ii) to relieve mental and emotional distress of persons and in particular of people who are, bisexual, lesbian, gay, transgender or in doubt about their sexuality by in particular the provision of advice, information and well being services.

We are an umbrella organisation for youth organisations in East and West Sussex and Brighton & Hove. Established for over 80 years, we are committed to developing a vibrant grassroots led voluntary and community youth sector, which involves, empowers and meets the needs of young people in Sussex. We currently support 148 member organisations and directly deliver 43 weekly youth activities.

The Sanctuary's mission is to prevent young homeless people from becoming part of the long term homeless population.We provide:1) Crisis Support Services - access to food, showers, laundry, computers, telephone, postal service etc.2) Move-On Support -- to help a young person become unstuck, to unlock their potential and prevent further decline

The charity runs a shop in the Princess Royal Hospital Haywards Heath and raises funds with other activities such as Golf days /street collections

Allsorts is a project-based in Sussex supporting young people who are Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual , Trans or exploring (LGBT) their sexual orientation and/or gender identity. We provide one-to-ones, group work, activities, training and workshops to schools, colleges and people working with children and young people. We also provide LGBT youth resources.

Provision of counselling services to men (18 plus) who have experienced sexual abuse/assault or rape at any time in their lives. Counselling services are also offered to partners/family/friends affected by sexual violence towards males.

Seaview Project is established for the relief of poverty, sickness and distress of persons in need amongst the inhabitants of East Sussex.We work with people who feel they are living on the edge of society and who believe that there is little hope for their future. In support of this we provide an open access Wellbeing Centre, housing support, outreach services, activities and a health programme

Sheltered Housing in East Sussex and Shropshire

Face to face, email and group counselling services and telephone and text helplines for men, women and child survivors of sexual abuse and rape and their close family members and supporters. We also provide training to organisations.

HARC provides an accessible information, advice and advocacy service, specialising in welfare benefits and tax credits up to and including the Upper Tier Tribunal. We offer home visits to elderly and housebound people and advice surgeries in Hastings & Rother. Our aim is to relieve local poverty by ensuring the correct benefit is received by people on a low income.

The training of postulates, novices and student friars of the order of friars minor conventual and the advancement of the religious and other charitable works carried out by or under the direction of the order.

Free to Be Kids provides respite holidays, therapeutic adventures, after-school support and a range of year round residentials for children who are struggling with social or emotional difficulties, significant social/financial disadvantage or who are growing up in marginalised communities. Without our work, many would not have support or a break from often extremely difficult home circumstances.

HoverAid provides medical care, community health programmes, and emergency relief to isolated communities. We develop and use hovercraft and other means to bring aid and lasting benefits to those in need

The advancement of the Christian religion for the public benefit including by the carrying on of the service of God in accordance with the Old and New Testaments of the Holy Bible as followed by those Christians forming part of a world-wide fellowship known as the "Plymouth Brethren Christian Church"

Tenterden Day Centre helps elderly, disabled and dementia sufferers to overcome difficulties giving them an opportunity to take part in as many varied activities as possible. Core activities ensure people maintain their independence through informed choices whilst retaining their individuality, dignity and privacy in a safe, friendly happy environment. Providing support services and information.

The advancement of the Christian religion, especially by means of and in accordance with the pricipals of the Baptist denomination as set out for the time being in the Declaration of Principals of the Baptist Union of Great Britian. This has been our activity during 2018 and will continue to be so throughout 2020.

A Council for Voluntary Services. 3VA exists to enhance the quality of life of people in Eastbourne, Lewes District, Wealden and surrounding areas in East Sussex through support to the Voluntary and Community Sector.

The charity stages a biennial international piano festival and international piano concerto competition in Hastings, East Sussex providing public concerts and recitals, together with year round educational activities and other musical events designed to encourage the appreciation of music among all age groups.
