An independent, local charity providing complementary therapies, counselling and creative therapies to people in Hastings and Rother living through cancer and other serious illness; with support for their families and carers.

Manor Twiglets Nursery Ltd care for children from 2 years to 11 years old. We are open for 50 weeks of the year, therefore also providing Holiday Clubs outside of term time. During the sessions, the children are able to access all 7 areas of learning as set out in the Early Years Foundation Stage. They have a great deal of fun playing inside as well as outside, getting messy and making friends.

To promote further education in Sussex and South East, represent Members views, provide a forum for Members to exchange ideas and information, to develop and share best practice and identify and implement key national, local and other agendas in futher education sector and to assist Members in interpreting and implementing such agendas.

To provide financial support for cancer research and for the provision, maintenance and replacement of facilities, equipment and buildings for the Radiotherapy and Oncology department at the Royal Sussex County Hospital, Brighton.

The PCC wants as many people as possible to worship at the church and to become part of the parish community at St Anne's. It enables ordinary people to live out their faith as part of our parish community through:- worship and prayer- learning about the gospel- developing their knowledge and trust in Jesus- provision of pastoral care- missionary and outreach work

Now! is a community-led charity. Our flagship household services reduce waste and carbon footprint via reusing and recycling hundreds of tonnes of household items. ESTEEM is a charity which offers young adults aged 14-26 opportunities to develop confidence, build life-skills and improve well-being. ESTEEM has recently incorporated to become a registered Charitable Incorporated Organisation. Please refer to ESTEEM's former Registered Charity Number 1058540 for our charitable history, 1995-2020 where we operated our services as an unincorporated organisation.

Training and Development

The charity provides:Free computer access to disadvantaged groups at various centres in the area .Regular groups attending the centre include clients with Prader Willi Syndrome and people in recovery from mental ill health. Day services for people with dementia in Hastings and Rye.Support for people in food povertyESOL for Asylum seekers and refugees.

The Charity is used to support the overall objectives of the Trust, and includes the provision of a wide range of equipment and facilities for both patients and staff. This allows the Trust to develop its services through new equipment and facilities and to provide training for staff to enhance their skills and knowledge allowing them to improve their contribution to the provision of its services.

Ladybirds aim is enhance the education of children below compulsory school age in the Parish of Ticehurst by providing safe and satisfying group play in which the parents have the right to take part and by encouraging other activities through which parents may help their children. This is accomplished by offering affordable quality childcare and education in conjunction with other professionals.

StreetlightUK is a front line support project working in the Horsham, Crawley and Gatwick areas. We work with women and young people at risk of, or involved in prostitution and those trafficked into the sex industry.StreetlightUK is an affiliate member of Beyond the Streets sharing resource, training and good practice with over 50 similar projects and agencies across the UK .

Emmaus is a secular charity providing a home, work & training for homeless or socially excluded people through social enterprise businesses trading in donated furniture & household goods. Residents may remain with Emmaus for as long as they need and are then helped to find jobs & housing. EHR can accommodate 23 residents and employs a small staff team to support residents & manage the business.

We are a small group of Roman Catholic sisters, part of an international Congregation dedicated to education. Mostly elderly, we are involved in various ways in our local communities. We have a special concern for social justice and environmental issues. We make small donations to educational projects in other parts of the world.
