We are holding classes for adults to read and write Arabic correctly for sisters? and Men. We have a library where people can come and get books as well as listen to Islamic bayan.We are currently distributing leaflets and booklets to Non- Muslims in the area, as well as distributing Islamic literature door to door. We have lectures and talks from well known scholars and Imams; local and overseas.

The charity is a Church, with regular Sunday worship services, and various other meetings and conferences on an irregular basis.

St Peter's Mar Thoma church is fully committed to serving the spiritual needs of the Malayalee Christians residing in the East of London & England, and where possible, promote Christian harmony and fellowship in the local community. The church plays an important role in passing our faith, traditions, culture and beliefs to our future generation.

In Sues Name has three main aims.To raise funds for research into the treatment of brain tumours.To increase public awareness about this terrible disease and the urgent need for well-funded, sustainable research.To bring together families and friends who have lost a loved one to brain cancer, or those who are still supporting them.

Provision of the girlguiding programme to all girls and women from the age of 4 in various units throughout the London borough of Brent, Barnet, Enfield and Haringey. Participation in a wide range of activities encourages them to fulfill their potential to take an active role in society. Providing residential opportunities at our environmental centre in Elstree, Hertsmere.

Promoting the development of young people in achieving their full physical, intellectual, social and spiritual potentials as individuals, as responsible citizens and as members of their local, national and international communities, by providing an enjoyable and attractive scheme of progressive training, based on the Scout Promise and Law and guided by adult leadership.

To advance the education for the public benefit by teaching the French language and French culture, heritage and history to children in East and North London and to adults through the provision of after school, weekend and holiday classes and through organising events open to the general public as the trustees shall determine.

The objects are to provide facilities for healthy recreation and sport for young people between the ages of 6 to 18.All the assets were donated from that club to the new charity on the understanding that the charity would continue to provide similar facilities and recreation as the old club.

The purpose of the charity is to conduct religious (Christian) activities in the ecclesiastical parish of St Mary Magdalene, Enfield. This includes the provision of public worship and the conducting of weddings, funerals and baptisms. The church seeks to have a presence in the community in terms of activities for young people, retired people and for all ethnic groups.

To promote the Christian religion and to help support people in the community. The Charity also runs a community hall that is available for all to use. We have outreach into the community providing facilities for parent an toddler, mothers union and uniformed organisations such as scouts and guides.

Education , Health and Employability support for disadvantaged children and families

Our activities in the community include educational programmes aimed at instilling responsibility, respect and self worth in young people as well as providing a moral code through faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. Programmes include a performing arts group, the Young Soldierz, which campaigns against gun and knife crime and bullying through performances in schools, concerts and community events.

Actively encourage participation in swimming and, in particular, synchronised swimming within local communities across London (including Barnet, Enfield, Haringey and Waltham Forest). To train and encourage children and adults to take various skill levels that are nationally recognised qualifications and to organise events and fund raise for the benefit of the charity and the local community.

The church's main activities include public worship, teaching and discipleship, work with children and young people, mission and outreach, pastoral work, the provision of facilities with a Christian ethos for the local community, and support of other charities. Many activities are undertaken jointly with other churches in the town and area.

We have 10 properties that are rented to the elderly widowed in need of accomodation that are currently living in the Ancient Parish of Enfield.

TO PROMOTE COMMUNITY PARTICIPATION BY PROVIDING FACILITIES FOR THE PLAYING OF BRIDGE, TENNIS, FOOTBALL AND CRICKET IN THE LONDON BOROUGH OF BARNET AND SURROUNDING AREA
