Wyvern Community Transport provides fully accessible transport to permanent residents of Rochford District and Castle Point Borough on an individual basis who are unable to access public transport.

The organisation provides public worship open to all with teaching of Christianity through sermons, courses and small groups. Unwanted animals are brought to the sanctuary where they are looked after until a new, caring home has been found for them.For those animals who cannot be rehomed, Wanderers Haven is their permanent residence. These animals can be sponsored, the money goes towards their ongoing care.Animals are taken in for caring while their owners are unable to care for them for a certain period of time.

The charity's principal object is the arranging and staging of the Thaxted Festival.
