PROVIDING HOUSING FOR OLDER LOCAL RESIDENTS.

KCF meets on Sundays and midweek in church members' homes. We run a vibrant and successful community -serving youth club, THE QUBE, a free face-to-face debt advice centre, called King's Money Advice (KMAC), and we are involved in an active primary school partnership, seeking the improvement of children's welfare and family life in the Blenheim area. We are involved in the school where we meet.

To promote community participation in healthy recreation through the provision, maintenance and improvement of facilities for but not limited to cricket, tennis, hockey and squash for the benefit of the inhabitants of Bishop Stortford and the surrounding area.

Scouting Association Youth Group serving the local area. Currently approx 100 members.

Collection and transcription of original source material in the Essex Record Office, in Essex churches and churchyards, in Essex parish registers etc. Production of CDs of this material to widen access to these records.Monthly meetings and talks on local and family history at four venues across Essex.Attendance/promotion of Fairs / Open Days at Libraries and similar institutions.

In association with Christians Against Poverty (CAP) Bradford, the centre delivers free assistance to those in debt through volunteers drawn from local churches.

The charitable purpose of the Unit is to promote the development of young people aged 10 to 18years, in achieving their physical, intellectual and social potential as individuals and as responsible citizens by the provision of education and leisure time activities using a nautical theme and in accordance with the principles, ethos and practices of the Marine Society & Sea Cadets (MSSC).

This site provides outdoor sports facilities (football pitches etc.) with associated ancillary facilities. It also has a formal children's playground.

The charity was founded in 1898 by a local man, Doctor Henry Dixon, for the benefit, education and welfare of the local people. With these objectives in mind the charity owns and maintains the Henry Dixon Hall and house endeavours, where practical, to give assistance to local voluntary and charitable organisations.
