The Newcastle Bach Choir holds 3 or 4 public concerts annually, one of which is always features the works of JS Bach. It also aims to perform works by twentieth century British composers on a regular basis. In addition, the choir engages in activities (workshops, outreach, partnerships with other choirs) to further its musical objectives.

The Gospel of Jesus Christ is proclaimed and people are challenged to put their faith into action, to be obedient to God and to be good citizens in our community. Gateshead clubhouse is a mental health community hub run entirely by its members. We have a community cafe with Internet access for our members, we run various activities from the clubhouse as well as out in the community.

We support vulnerable people by offering a place of care and refuge, a listening ear, companionship and direct practical help. We provide alcohol, drug and relationship counselling and supply furniture, clothing and food parcels to those in need. We plan to implement a youth programme and a range of directed programmes around independent life skills, employability, sport and positive self-esteem.
