EDBERTS HOUSE IS WORKING WITH LOCAL PEOPLE TO BUILD HAPPIER, HEALTHIER, FRIENDLIER COMMUNITIES. WE MANAGE FOUR PROJECTS: TWO LOCAL HUBS OFFERING ACTIVITIES, TRAINING, YOUTH WORK AND VOLUNTEERING OPPORTUNITIES, OUR COMMUNITY LINKING PROJECT, BASED IN TWENTY SEVEN GP PRACTICES, SUPPORTING PATIENTS WITH NON CLINICAL ISSUES, AND THRIVE IN BEACON LOUGH EAST: A COMMUNITY LED APPROACH TO SYSTEMS CHANGE.

The objectives of the charity being the advancement and promotion or Orthodox Jewish religion, education and general secular education and vocational training for Jewish girls is being achieved through the operation of a residential college. The college delivers an intensive programme of religious Jewish education as well as the provision of vocational training.

We support asylum seekers, refugees and other migrants in the North East of England to lead lives that are safe, independent and fulfilled, by providing supported accommodation and free English language and employment classes. Our ?Skills for Life? English language classes are delivered from our classrooms in Newcastle and Sunderland, as well as in other centres through our community partnerships.

Assists with the conservation of churches of historic or architectural value in the Anglican dioceses of Durham and Newcastle, mainly through providing financial assistance towards the cost of repairs. Churches may be of any Christian denomination.

The provision of professional, confidential and impartial interpretation and translation and advocacy service to the North East region, serving community groups, individuals and service providers.Encouraging local community groups to formalise their language skills to become professional translators thus enhancing their employment opportunities.

Promoting education in the North East of England, with particular reference to language, literature, philosophy, science, history, music and the fine arts by maintaining a library, providing educational lectures and events; raising funds by charging subscriptions and making other charges for the exclusive purposes of the charity and by such other charitable means as the charity may think fit.

Provision of nursery school facilities.

Provision of temporary housing accommodation to people with special housing needs, assisting residents in acquiring and developing living skills and assisting them to move on to independent accommodation.

The Charity provides out-of-school hours activities for children with disabilities in the London Boroughs of Hackney and Haringey. The Charity's aims are to provide social, leisure and developmental benefits to children and young people with disabilities and provide support and respite to their families.

We are a North East Specialist day College for people aged 16+ with Special Educational Needs. Our primary aim is to provide education, care and support for our learners in a safe, nurturing and stimulating environment. We offer a wide range of innovative and engaging activities to widen and enhance their learning experience. Promoting independence, communication and choice at all times.

The CIO will aim to support the religious and other charitable works performed by members of the Congregation. These works will fall into the following four areas: Healthcare, Education, Social and Pastoral Care and Overseas (including USA and Africa).

It aims to provide physical facilities for such ministry and personnel. It makes payments to facilitate Christian work on Tyneside and beyond, and enables charitable giving to mission work.

The charity is constituted as a company limited by guarantee, and is therefore governed by a memorandum and articles of association. The objects of the charity are;1. The advancement of education and religion in accordance with the doctrines of the Jewish Religion.2. The relief of poverty.3. Any other purpose considered charitable under the Charities Act.

Provision of direct support services to female survivors of sexual violence aged 13 and over who live in Tyneside or Northumberland. The direct services we provide include counselling, group work, helpline, email support and practical/emotional support.Provision of specialist training, workshops and talks to local professionals and the wider public to raise awareness about our work.

The charity generates income on its investments and received gift aid. It made distributions to help advance education in accordance with the doctrines and principles of Orthodox Judaism.
