The synagogue holds services every Friday night and and marks all festivals and high holidays. Many school visits take place to meet the national curriculum. A Jewish studies and Art/Music group meets regularly and there are various social activities. National Holocaust day is observed along with local council and other faith groups.

To promote the benefit of the inhabitants of Abbeydale and the neighbourhood without distinction and to associate with the inhabitants, local authorities and voluntary organisations to advance education and provide facilities in the interest of social welfare with the object of improving the conditions of life for the inhabitants while securing the existing community centre.

Linc Charity is dedicated to supporting blood cancer patients and their families. We provide both emotional and financial support to help people who are receiving cancer care across Gloucestershire hospitals.

The charity's activities involve the advancement of the Christian faith primarily, but not exclusively within Gloucester and the surrounding neighbourhood in accordance with the Charity's Basis of Faith.

The provision of a one to one mentoring service to young adults who are at risk of disengaging from their learning. Our aim is to improve their engagement in learning and the service is delivered mainly but not exclusively delivered in schools and can include support to the families of these young people. Mentor link operates in the Midlands and South Midlands area.

ATE is an educational trust which runs residential holiday camps called 'Superweeks' during the Christmas, Easter and summer school holidays. The children come from all over the UK and beyond. Young adult volunteers are trained by ATE to work with the children on Superweeks. The charity also engages in a limited amount of work with schools including residential courses and staff INSET

Operasonic creates opera projects and performances with and for young people that are led by professional artists. Participation is at the heart of our practice, and we create new opera in collaboration with our young participants, based on their stories and creativity. Operasonic is based in Newport, South Wales.

Together in Matson provides a place for our community to connect and socialise. A multi-purpose hub that offers different things for different people. We connect people from all walks of life and welcome people of all ages, abilities and backgrounds. We celebrate diversity so that people are valued for their own individual qualities, and we all socialise together.

Drop in Centre for the Over 60's. Self Financed and run by volunteers

Severn Freewheelers provide a free courier service to the NHS in North Wiltshire, Gloucestershire, Herefordshire and Worcestershire to transport urgently needed items such as blood, drugs and samples. Ten emergency service bikes and three cars are available 365 days a year, with members working week days, evenings and weekends. Fleet riders & drivers hold Advanced Licences.

The organisation is set up as a voluntary movement for girls and women and its purpose is to enable girls and young women to develop their potential and to make a difference in the world. This is achieved within a mutually supportive structure of fun, friendship and personal challenge underpinned by spiritual and moral values.

The Trustees have elected to concentrate (although not exclusively) on registered charities concerned with hearing or sight issues and prison welfare, reform and systems. When considering donations for UK based charities, the Trustees favour charities in the West Midlands and South West areas. Providing Health and Social Care throughout Fairford, Lechlade and the Surrounding Villages. Our services include End of Life Home Nursing care, Patient Transport for medical related appointments and a weekly Lunch Club for the isolated and lonely. We provide funding to various local community groups. We have a Charity Shop based in Lechlade.
