The promotion of community participation in healthy recreation for the public benefit in the area of Brockworth, in particular by the provision of facilities for the playing of rugby, football and other sports. Such facilities planned to include a combined sports club, without distinction of sex, sexual orientation, race or political, religious or other opinions.

The Townsend Hall is a community hall in the centre of Shipston on Stour, a market town in South Warwickshire, close to the borders with Oxfordshire, Gloucestershire and Worcestershire. There are two halls, the larger of which includes stage facilities, as well as a bar and refreshment area.

The Branch appoints a Hon Welfare Officer to deal with the provision of welfare to those in the area by dispensing welfare and information throughtout the year. The Association participated in the yearly Wings Appeal Fund. The Branch provides social activites and events for members of the Branch

The church is involved with general charity and overseas famine relief. As a church is holds regular Sunday meetings and services/prayer meetings midweek. It is also involved with running childrens clubs on Sundays and midweek.

The Churchward County Trust Ltd continues to actively raise awareness of its goal to re-create a Great Western Railway 'County' class 4-4-0 steam locomotive using a mixture of new and original components. The principal object of the charity is to preserve the property known as The Chantry at Berkeley in the County of Gloucestershire being the property wherein the late Dr Edward Jenner (1749-1823) lived and died as a permanent memorial to Edward Jenner his life and his work (both in local community affairs and in Immunology) and his memory.
