Our aim is to reduce social isolation amongst, but not limited to, retired men. We achieve this by coming together on a regular basis with common purpose. We operate three "Sheds" in which we undertake both personal and community projects, many of which benefit other charities in the area.

Ross CDT promotes voluntary action in Ross-on-Wye by:1. networking with other charities and groups2. working with statutory services help them work more effectively with voluntary groups3. providing advice, training and support to groups4. developing projects to meet identified needs5. by developing the capacity and skills of volunteers.

TO PROVIDE ACCOMMODATION, IN PLEASANT SURROUNDINGS, FOR LADIES AND GENTLEMEN AGED60 OR OVER WHO ARE EITHER SINGLE OR WIDOWED AND MUST HAVE BORN OR NOW RESIDE IN THEANCIENT PARISHES OF CHELTENHAM OR THE LEIGH. THEY SHOULD BE ABLE TO CARE FORTHEMSELVES IN ALL ACTIVITIES OF DAILY LIVING.

The Victoria Centre in Lydney promotes the welfare of the elderly, those with disability and others in need in any manner which is legal. This is mainly achieved by offering social contact, lunches and activities at the centre.

We raise money for the" Wings Appeal "which helps the RAF family ,Veterans and their dependants.Our facilities allow veterans to meet is a safe place and meet up with other veterans.We provide monthly Veteran lunches on the Thrid Wednesday of every month.

Affiliated to the Scout Association, The 1st Wotton under Ege Scout Group provides a programme of badge work, a wide range of indoor and outdor activities, inter-personal skill and personal development activities from the age of 6 years, through Beavers, Cubs and Scouts aged 14.5 years.

Our purpose is the advancement of the Christian faith, through teaching, preaching and evangelism and by making Jesus known through practical and spiritual action. This includes Bible teaching, Worship services, Children's work, Youth activities, Street work, and running the Alpha course.

The Black Elders Day Centre operates within the County of Gloucestershire and delivers Day Care to African Caribbean Elders, (but not exclusively) aged 50 and over. Specially to the frail, elderly and disabled by providing day care services twice weekly - Personal care, cooked lunch, social activity and mental stimulation, day trips and outings, adult education and health improvement activities.

We support, promote and run community initiatives to help people live more sustainably and to protect and improve the environment. We do this by creating a network of supportive people and organisations in and around Chipping Norton. We encourage communication between people with similar goals, and help amplify the voices of marginalised groups, enabling them to be better heard by policy makers.

Akanishta Kadampa Buddhist Centre aims to help people increase their peace of mind and solve their problems through Buddhist meditation. The charity runs day courses/study programmes and meditation classes, school visits and hospital chaplaincy offering spiritual guidance and advice. The charity affirms its commitment to maintaining safeguarding policies and is open to everyone.

Objective 1: Promoting and advancing all aspects of the Christian faith to the public.Objective 2: Recreational activities particularly in relation to community activities such as holiday clubs for children and young people.Objective 3: Outreach to support those within our community who may be vulnerable, isolated and/or marginalised.

Maintenance of historic grade 1 Listed Building to provide suitable accommodation for needy/elderly residents who are capable of living independently.

Malmesbury Carnival Committee organises a programme of music, sports cultural and children's events, mostly during August and ending in a traditional carnival procession, to raise funds for local good causes in the Malmesbury area.

Discussion, information and knowledge sharing focal point for individual humanitarian logisticians and organisations involved in humanitarian transport and logistics. Networking of volunteers abroad.

The Forest of Dean Baby Bank operates on a referral basis - local organisations such as HousingAssociations, Social Services, Schools & Nurseries refer children / families in need and we provide suchsupplies as we are able to meet their needs We also provide advocacy / advice on family matters

Playgroup & Breakfast Club

WE ARE PRIMARILY A CHARITY MUSEUM AND ARCHIVE DUE TO HOLD A NATIONAL COLLECTION OF THE STUDIO SLIPWARES PRODUCED AT WINCHCOMBE POTTERY BY MICHAEL CARDEW & HIS TEAM. A SELECTION OF THESE WILL BE PUT ON PERIODIC DISPLAYS IN BI-ANNUAL EXHIBITIONS TO ALSO INCLUDE ART & COTSWOLDS CRAFTS OF THE 1920S AND 1930S. IN NORMAL CIRCUMSTANCES WE WILL ALSO HOLD TALKS SERIES EVERY JUNE GIVEN BY LEADING EXPERTS
