Friends of Abbeymead Primary School (FAbS) bring together the whole school community, organising fundraising events and activities that help supply additional resources to enhance the school experience of its pupils and make school a better place for children to learn.

To Generate income to be distributed equally between the Stroud & Rodborough Educational Charity and the Stroud Feoffees Church Account. The Income is generated purely from the Charity's investments.

Local scout group which includes beavers, cubs, scouts and explorers. We also have another local organisations using our facilities based in Mangotsfield, South Gloucestershire.

Giving information locally to members of the community who require help to alleviate personal/social problems, primarily in Broadway and the Cotswold edge.

Grants given to 16-24 year old students for education/training, including fees, books, equipment and official travel projects. Applicants' home residence must be in Glos. Students who have come to county to study are eligible if funding is made available to Lumbs Educational Foundation for the purpose in any particular year.

We have five ponies based at Hartpury University. We provide riding sessions on Tuesdays in term time for children with disabilities, The charity consists solely of volunteers, some of whom are qualified RDA coaches who provide the lesson structure and instruction required. Training is given to enable the remaining volunteers to lead the ponies or sidewalk and provide the support needed.

This charity is for the benefit of patients of the Holts Health Centre medical practice and the staff whom look after them. We welcome personal applications as well as liaising with the staff of the practice. E.g. we will purchase or make a contribution to equipment, or pay for services that are not available on the NHS.

To provide and maintain The Old Chapel in Gotherington as a community facility for the benefit and use of the inhabitants of Gotherington, Woolstone and Oxenton and the surrounding area for the purpose of meetings, lectures and classes and other forms of recreation and leisure-time occupation. To advance local charitable purposes by the making of grants.

The Hopton Trust was originally founded by Frances Hopton in early 1700 to provide education for needy children in Cam.Today the Trust own and maintain the original Schoolhouse which is used as a Childcare setting, providing: breakfast, out of school and holiday clubs, as well as a playgroup.The Trust provide funds for Cam Hopton School leavers bibles and mugs and for set projects.

The charity runs various vocal training courses for students of all ages with the aim of promoting, improving, developing and maintaining public appreciation and experience of vocal music. Classes are held on a weekly basis during the three term year and singers also experience workshops and performing at recitals and concerts. The age range is from 5 years upto late teens.

We hold events, including School Fete, Bonfire night etc to raise money for the school.

We also hold new & second-hand uniform sales as well as weekly ice-cream/hot chocolate sales on Friday's after school.

Help a Hedgehog Hospital runs a rescue and rehabilitation programme for the native wild hedgehog within the county of Gloucestershire. Our education programme offers talks to schools, clubs and groups throughout the county and we provide information on hedgehog welfare, habitat and conservation to people in all geographical areas through the use of our website, supporters group and social media.
