The purpose of King's Stanley PTFA is to raise money for the benefit of the children of King Stanley school. Various fund rasiing activities have been undertaken including but not restricted to: Summer Fayre, Chirstmas Fayre, Quiz Nights, School discos, Pampering evening, Scarecrow trail, Ice Cream Sales...Donations are given to the school normally for an agreed purpose.

To hire the facilities of the hall out to the community

Grant supports social responsibility work in the Diocese of Worcester with priority to supporting the work of diocesan social responsibility staff and diocesan "Commission for Social Responsibility".

The village hall provides a refurbished premise for local community use and hire. Our local organisations which includes the WI, short mat bowling, keep fit,book club , yoga, quilters,dowsing group and reading group, amateur dramatics and village lunches etc meet regularly on a weekly or monthly basis. Occasionally parties and funeral/ anniversary teas are catered for.

Gloucestershire Puja and Cultural Association will organise the following Hindu Religious Festivals throughout the year. Following are planned:1. Sarbojonin Durgotsav2. Kojagori MahaLakshmi Puja 3. Sri Saraswati Puja 4. Rabindra Nazrul Jayantiand any other religious and cultural activities as agreed by the trustees.

The object of the charity is provision and maintenance of Paxford Village Hall for the use of the inhabitants of the village and neighbourhood. The work is funded by the organisation of charitable events and lettings of the hall. An example of the events includes quiz nights, barbecues, coffee mornings and the Christmas Cracker.

Provide and ensure safety within the Community Village Hall. Endeavour to retain a standard worthy of a Village Hall within the Cotswolds in a satisfactory manner for all hirers/users. Those hiring the hall are from all groups of people including children and those with disabilities, for both teaching and recreation.

Organise events/collections and raffles throughout each year to raise funds. These funds are then gifted to charitable organisations in accordance with Rotary principles.

Drop-in Centre for the use of the elderly and disabled.

Hall used by local groups - Playgroup, Sports, Parish Council, WI, Yoga, Aerobics, hire to public. Playing Field used for football training by local club.

FHS raises funds for Horsley School through social events for school families and wider community. We aim to enhance the primary school experience for children by providing items that they would not have without our financial support. It fulfils a social role for families and the wider community in a semi-rural environment by offering a range of events to suit different tastes and budgets.

The Charity provides a Village Hall facility for the Sheepscombe community. It sustains the good housekeeping and the sound financial controls to make the hall a centrepiece to the social and school life of this rural community. Further, it continues to develop the grounds and building amenities for its users.

We provide a three monthly news bulletin magazine for our members in the Midlands area.We make grants to individuals and provide care and counselling services to people with special needs e.g. people with an ileostomy and we raise funds to cover our activities.

The Scout Group runs a program of activities, both outdoor and indoor, through which young people are encouraged to develop their full physical, intellectual, social and spiritual potentials, as individuals, as responsible citizens and as members of their local, national and international communities.

The Aim of the Sea Cadet Corps is to help young people towards responsibleadulthood by encouraging valuable personal attributes and high standards of conduct, using anautical theme based on the customs of the Royal Navy. Activities include community based work, pulling (rowing), sailing, shooting, drill, Expedition Training, football, swimming, kayaking, power boating.
