The principal activity is to provide advice, support and training opportunities to all women living, working or studying in the Royal Borough of Greenwich and,other areas in particular, for the advancement of training, education and the furtherance of health and the relief of poverty, distress and provision of social welfare.

Greenwich Mencap works with and for people with a learning disability and their families. Our Children's services are: support with challenging behaviour, activity sessions (short breaks) and support surrounding the transition to adulthood. Our Adult services are: information, advice, advocacy, 1-1 support, travel training, job coaching, day services including handicrafts, gardening & painting.

CROSSROADS CARE SOUTH EAST LONDON is a not for profit voluntary organisation providing a diverse range of quality community based services to carers of children/young people/ adults/older people to have a break from their caring responsibilities. The support is provided in their own home. People who wish to self fund or are in receipt of D/Payments can also purchase services from us.

Tramshed uses the arts to build community strength; increasing wellbeing to inspire & equip the next generation in life & creative careers. Tramshed is locally connected & welcoming, working with participants to make transformative programme through excellent quality artistic process & productions.

Montessori Childrens Nursery Age 2.5 to 5 yrs old

Provides respite care at home for carers, enabling a carer to take a break while the person they look after remains in their own home where their usual routines can continue. We also provide support groups, individual emotional support for carers, information about services that can help and a welfare benefits advice service including help with completing claim forms.

We offer an inclusive, confidential, non-judgemental service founded on equality, diversity and the sanctity of life. We work with people to find and sustain accommodation and support them to access treatment for drug, alcohol and mental health problems.

AFRIL aims to relieve the poverty of refugees, asylum-seekers and vulnerable migrants, advance their education and advocate for their rights. We work with our service users by providing them with the tools they need to improve their own lives and fulfil their potential as members of the community and society.

We are a frontline service that collects and organises community donations of all kinds which we then distribute to those facing acute hardship in London. Founded in 2020, we are now one of the main points of support for those seeking asylum, the homeless, domestic violence survivors & many other groups.

Queercircle is an LGBTQ led charity working at the intersection of arts, culture and social action. Our community focused programme of exhibition commissions, participatory residencies and learning and participation activities are delivered to strengthen links between arts, culture, health and wellbeing.

The PCC of St. Alfege, Greenwich is responsible for promoting in the parish the whole mission of the Church of England, pastoral, social, ecumenical and evangelical. It has maintenance responsibilities for St. Alfege Church, a Grade 1 listed building, and for the church hall and other properties, and decides how PCC funds should be spent.

The objective of Vanbrugh Community Association is to promote the benefit of the inhabitants of London Borough of Greenwich by furthering their education, social welfare and leisure as a means of improving their quality of life, and specifically by managing a community centre to provide a base for these activities.

We run Irish themed events online and in person, as well as Tea Cake Club's and have the following projects. Advice and Advocacy, Elders Outreach, Carers Support, Volunteers project, Out & About project & Memory Services project.

The John Roan Foundation makes charitable donations in assisting students who receive education in the London Borough of Greenwich. These donations must not include anything which the local authority makes available through any delegated funding.

The Wildlife Ambulance Service deals with sick and injured foxes and abandoned fox cubs, including rehabilitation and releasing.The Wildlife Information Bureau regularly advises national and local government and members of the public.Our Fox Deterrence Consultancy provides Do-it-Yourself information on simple, humane and non-lethal methods of resolving conflict with urban foxes.

Provision of almshouse accommodation for thirteen persons over the age of 55, with a preference for widows and single women, living in the "area of benefit" i.e. the south side of the River Thames up to a radius of 5 miles from the almshouses. Provision of grants to enable elderly people, living in the charity's area of benefit, to remain in their own homes.

Promote the benefits of the inhabitants of the London Borough of Greenwich, especially the Woolwich Riverside LOCAL ward to provide affordable hall and room hire to local groups who service the community and work in partnership with the local authorities and communities on various community development projects.

Greener and Cleaner was set up to protect and promote the local environment for the benefit of residents and the public, by promoting the benefits of and providing education around personal measures which can be taken, in order to contribute to reducing the carbon footprint of their households and communities.
