Volunteer Centre Greenwich exists to promote the value of volunteering in the Royal Borough of Greenwich and ensure equality of access to volunteering for all people.

Provision of almshouse accommodation for thirteen persons over the age of 55, with a preference for widows and single women, living in the "area of benefit" i.e. the south side of the River Thames up to a radius of 5 miles from the almshouses. Provision of grants to enable elderly people, living in the charity's area of benefit, to remain in their own homes.

We are a community library in the heart of Blackfen High Street and our vision is to have an "open door" for our community and be a home away from home that provides opportunities to access a great world of books in a comforting "third space". Our library space caters for individual population groups needing a place to belong plus a way to bring together different groups in our community.

The relief of sickness of children with cancer and leukaemia receiving treatment in the Tiger Ward at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Woolwich, London or such other hospitals or organisations as the trustees may determine, by the provision of financial support to such persons and their families suffering hardship during their time of illness, and by any other charitable means

To advance the sikh religion amongst the Sikh Ramgarhia community in Woolwich area and wider community as a whole. Furthermore to:-Provide a meeting place for the members of the community, sikh education facilities, to perform Marriage services, create a religious atmosphere and infuse spirit of service, fraternity, brotherhood amongst members, establish Library, sports and youth activities.

To provide free accommodation, heating and maintenance to retired persons on restricted means and capable of looking after themselves who reside in the parishes of Eltham and Mottingham.

Supporting local churches in (a) the provision of public acts of worship open to members of the church and non-members alike. (b) the teaching of Chritisitianity through worship, courses and small groups (c) promoting the mission of the church nd aiding social cohesion through activities for all age ranges and abilities (d) support other charities financially and with with prayer

Provision of community facilities and support to local community groups

A grouping of 9 local Churches forming a circuit within the London District of the Methodist Church in Great Britain. The grouping exists for mutual support in fulfilling the mission of the Church in this part of London. There are four ministers in the Circuit, supported by a team of local preachers, circuit stewards and a leadership team from the member churches.

Greater London South County Scout Council, known as South London Scouts, supports and manages Scouting across the London Boroughs of Bexley, Bromley, Royal Greenwich, Lewisham, Southwark, Lambeth, & Wandsworth. Providing strategic direction and operational support to its member Scout Districts which mirror the London Borough boundaries.

Charitable activities relating to the NHS, wholly or mainly for the service provided by the Queen Victoria Hospital.
