We provide low cost children's play novelties, art/crafts materials, hire equipment, training and room hire to voluntary organisations. Promote inclusive play and play related activities, organise and deliver Holiday Play Schemes and weekly Short Break Clubs for children with additional needs.

We work with entire communities with projects, services and activities that are responsive to local needs and cover a diverse range of subjects.

As Scouts, we believe in preparing young people with skills for life. The Mersey Weaver Scout District supports Explorer Scout Units and the Scout Groups in Frodsham, Runcorn, Widnes and villages to encourage the young people to do more, learn more and be more. Each week, we support our members by providing the opportunity to enjoy fun and adventure while developing the skills they need to succeed

Merseyside Jewish Community Care aims to provide a comprehensive welfare service for Jewish individuals and families in Merseyside, and organisations and professionals who interact with the Community.

Various tasks and facilities pertaining to the collection, verification, management, storage and dissemination of biological/biodiversity data within the Cheshire region, including training in the identification of species, information on recording via a website which also delivers data and species mapping to the public and the education sector and beyond.

The MGET has been set up to monitor and manage the environmental disciplines associated with the Mersey Gateway Project. The Trust vision is to promote for the benefit of the public the conservation, protection and improvement of the physical and natural environment of the Upper Mersey Estuary and related areas. This includes the ability for the Trust to bid for additional resources.

To provide emotional support to people who have been affected by cancer. We offer a variety of services including cancer specific groups, complimentary therapies, counselling, one to one work and welfare benefits advice. Tai Chi and the 'Feel Good Factor' a programme consisting of Art and Music Therapy and Creative Writing, have been introduced recently.

Using football as a means of social integration to combat the effects of homelessness

The objective of the Foundry Church is the advancement of the Christian faith in the borough of Halton and beyond. The church looks to meet the needs of the local community and congregation both practically and spiritually. There are high quality youth and children's programmes on a weekly basis and a variety of events and meetings available for the over 60's.

Operate (generally) weekly, term-time Scout and Guiding acivity sections for young people. Organise, and where neccessary raise funds for, regular trips, camps and outdoor activities for the section members. Maintain/improve HQ resources, including equipment, with strict regard for health and safety regulations/requirements.

The Guide Association, as part of the worldwide Movement, enables girls and young women to fulfil their potential to take an active and responsible role in society through its distinctive, stimulating and enjoyable programme of activities delivered by trained volunteer leaders.

The WI plays a unique role in providing women with educational opportunities and the chance to build new skills, to take part in a wide variety of activities and to campaign on issues that matter to them and their communities.The WI is a democratic, non-sectarian and non-party political organisation.

Our objectives are delivered by matching relevant skills and expertise offered pro bono from the business community to resource needs in the voluntary sector.We do this in three ways: Short-term projects, or Quick Fixes; longer-term projects involving a range of professional skills; and, sourcing Trustees, Mentors, or Critical Friends to deliver longer-term ongoing support.

We are situated in a classroom of Weston Point Primary School. We have been running for over 40 years. We provide high quality childcare for children aged between 2 and 5 years old. We accept 2 and 3&4 year old funding and 30 hour funding. We have a SENDCO trained member of staff who works closely with key persons and other professionals to support children in our care.

What have we been doing?Currently our themes have been Growth. And The World looking at places we visited.We have planted our own fruits, cress and potatoes. And have had lots of parent input with ourWorld theme. Sharing customs, foods, traditional dress and family pictures.What have we achieved?I felt it important to try to gain some achievements for our own recognition.

A sessional preschool, within the group all children are supported in developing their potential at their own pace, by means of appropriate play, activities and a high level of adult input within a safe secure stimulating environment.

Mind Halton works within the Borough of Halton and aims to work with mental health service users to increase their influence and control over their own lives, through enabling people to assert their needs and thereby assist them to participate in the community in which they live as valued citizens.

We are a Liverpool Combined Authority based charity helping Armed Forces personnel, service leavers and veterans get access to mental health support, wellbeing, treatment and employment. We work with the local authorities very closely by supporting the most vulnerable cases including those who suffer with Complex PTSD, chronic homelessness, addiction and those who are escaping domestic violence.
