We provide low cost children's play novelties, art/crafts materials, hire equipment, training and room hire to voluntary organisations. Promote inclusive play and play related activities, organise and deliver Holiday Play Schemes and weekly Short Break Clubs for children with additional needs.

Working at grassroots level in deprived neighbourhoods to provide services and activities aimed at improving the quality of life for local people via the management of independent community centres. The MGET has been set up to monitor and manage the environmental disciplines associated with the Mersey Gateway Project. The Trust vision is to promote for the benefit of the public the conservation, protection and improvement of the physical and natural environment of the Upper Mersey Estuary and related areas. We provide in the area of Halton, north of the River Mersey and the surrounding area:a) emergency food boxes containing three days supply of balanced and nutritional foodstuffs to individuals in need and/or for distribution by charities and others working to prevent or relieve poverty;b) relevant information and other advisory services to individuals in need

The Guide Association, as part of the worldwide Movement, enables girls and young women to fulfil their potential to take an active and responsible role in society through its distinctive, stimulating and enjoyable programme of activities delivered by trained volunteer leaders.

To provide emotional support to people who have been affected by cancer. We offer a variety of services including cancer specific groups, complimentary therapies, counselling, one to one work and welfare benefits advice. Tai Chi and the 'Feel Good Factor' a programme consisting of Art and Music Therapy and Creative Writing, have been introduced recently.

The objective of the Foundry Church is the advancement of the Christian faith in the borough of Halton and beyond. The church looks to meet the needs of the local community and congregation both practically and spiritually. There are high quality youth and children's programmes on a weekly basis and a variety of events and meetings available for the over 60's.

The Liverpool District of the Methodist Church has been merged into the North West England District (Charity Number 1135459) under whom all activities are now managed. Technicalities around transfer of certain assets are being worked on and once resolved the charity will formally be closed.

Operate (generally) weekly, term-time Scout and Guiding acivity sections for young people. Organise, and where neccessary raise funds for, regular trips, camps and outdoor activities for the section members. Maintain/improve HQ resources, including equipment, with strict regard for health and safety regulations/requirements.

The WI plays a unique role in providing women with educational opportunities and the chance to build new skills, to take part in a wide variety of activities and to campaign on issues that matter to them and their communities.The WI is a democratic, non-sectarian and non-party political organisation.

Our objectives are delivered by matching relevant skills and expertise offered pro bono from the business community to resource needs in the voluntary sector.We do this in three ways: Short-term projects, or Quick Fixes; longer-term projects involving a range of professional skills; and, sourcing Trustees, Mentors, or Critical Friends to deliver longer-term ongoing support.

A sessional preschool, within the group all children are supported in developing their potential at their own pace, by means of appropriate play, activities and a high level of adult input within a safe secure stimulating environment.

What have we been doing?Currently our themes have been Growth. And The World looking at places we visited.We have planted our own fruits, cress and potatoes. And have had lots of parent input with ourWorld theme. Sharing customs, foods, traditional dress and family pictures.What have we achieved?I felt it important to try to gain some achievements for our own recognition.

Mind Halton works within the Borough of Halton and aims to work with mental health service users to increase their influence and control over their own lives, through enabling people to assert their needs and thereby assist them to participate in the community in which they live as valued citizens.

We are a North West based charity helping Armed Forces personnel, service leavers and veterans get access to mental health treatment, transitional, wellbeing, addiction, education & employment support. We work with partners & the local authorities very closely by supporting the most vulnerable including those who suffer with complex PTSD, chronic homelessness and those escaping domestic violence.
